Really good educational tour focusing on the ecology and potential recovery of the Great Barrier Reef. Our guide was Nykitah and her knowledge and delivery was fantastic. It can be a bit warm, but hand fans are provided; the blue lights throw an odd colour for photos, but they provide a clip on filter for your phone - they have really thought the experience through. At just under an hour the tour is well paced and the working coral "farm" is fascinating to witness. The cultivation and collection techniques demonstrated, all done with ecological sustainability at the forefront, are great and the message for the survivability of the Coral is very positive. At $35 for the tour it's affordable and represents good value, more than happy to recommend as a "must do" for Bundaberg visitors and residents alike.

If someone had asked if I wanted to go see coral grow, I would have rolled my eyes.....but I came away a convert. If you have the opportunity to visit, you will learn so much about the facility and the research going on here to contribute to the preservation of the Great Barrier Reef that you will be telling anyone who will listen. I'm sure they are all very good ambassadors, but I hope you get the tour from Indie, whose contagious enthusiasm delighted all of us. She must be especially impressive talking to school kids (no surprise if she inspires youngsters to these fields of study).

You are visiting a working coral farm not a pet shop, so you it might be a bit warm, but the experience is a fantastic look at the coral industry and some of the efforts to protect the reef for future generations.

This was my fourth visit to the Coral Farm over a 10 month period and it didn't disappoint. Each time friends visit I take them there now and we all enjoy the professionalism shown and the great information given. The corals are so beautiful and watching the feeding of them is wonderful. Staff are exceptional! Remember your water bottle and phone for photos and wear enclosed shoes.

I had No idea this tour would be so interesting & fun. Indie showed us around - scary loud voice to start with but good volume in amongst all the workings. We saw Fantastic colours in corals & those fish & the details about it all - so good. Just wandering around was so delightful, visually stimulating and (just quietly) ... I learnt things in the best way imaginable. Highly recommend this - even for those hard to motivate. Have fun.
