Nguyen Hue Street
A special square for youngsters to hang out. Packed with thousands of coffee shops and tea houses on both sides. In Vietnam, siblings normally share rooms so they prefer going to these places for some privacy.
Ben Thanh Market
Ben Thanh Market, literally means 'market by the wharf citadel', dated back to the 17th century. It was formally built in 1914. You can find anything in here!

Was pretty especially as it got dark. Relaxing drive. Gave the drivers 100,000 dong to split and they didn’t even say thankyou or acknowledge receiving a tip which we thought was very rude and disrespectful

Fun, relaxing and safe. The traffic was not a problem. A cool way to see the city. They actually picked us up at our hotel. Bring sunscreen and plenty of water.

Skilled rider in the traffic, the scary, scary traffic! Saw so much more than if I had followed a self guided walking tour - different pick up and drop off points made it easy for me to explore different neighborhoods at either end of the tour too!

A good fun way for a family to experience the city and the crazy Saigon roads without having to put kids on motorbikes! It's worth taking water and asking for the umbrella to be put up if needed as you're in the hot sun for long spells. The drivers were friendly and very Vietnamese in a good way.

we chose to do a one-hour family visit by cyclo (for 5 adults). The cyclomen were on time at 11:00 a.m. and showed us around the different sites and took photos. Then, they passed in front of Notre Dame de Saigon under construction and stopped at the Saigon post office (break stop) for us to visit. Beautiful building preserved from the colonial era and still in operation. The cyclomen were very kind and accommodating. Then they took us to visit a pagoda (off the circuit) and offered to have a drink to to the hot weather. We also paid for them a drink and I had drawn their attention that the fixed hour had passed. Our one-hour tour of the city, punctuated by sightseeing stops and a drink break, ended at 1:00 p.m. At our request to finish the tour, the cyclomen asked us for 1,000,000 dong each for pedaling! (A total of 5,000,000 dong for the 5 of them). We obviously refused, saying that it was in bad faith. It’s a shame because they were very friendly. We paid 250,000 dong each for the extra hour even though they cycled for barely 1 hour in total! ( 1,250,000 dong for the 5 of them). Advice, before starting the tour, remind them to respect 1 hour and WITHOUT visiting outside the circuit but only to take photos. Some people always take advantage of the sympathy of tourists, it’s really shame !

What seemed to be a very inexpensive ride turned into a reasonable but far more expensive ride as the cost is based on time and you are offered more and more places to visit each consuming time. You can expect a 1 hour tour to turn into 4 hours very quickly. The ride it’s self isn’t the most comfortable and sometimes even scary as you venture into traffic that seem to obey no road rules, however apart from suffering a little from the heat the ride itself proved to be safe enough and you certainly see more than you would any other form of transport
