Diving requires certain weather conditions. In the unlikely event the activity should be cancelled due to poor weather conditions, you will be offered an alternative date or full refund.
Flying within 12-18 hours after diving is not recommended
Minimum age is 10 years
You have to be medically fit for diving. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions might prevent you from diving (no asthma, heart problems or other serious conditions).

What To Expect
Always wanted to learn diving? Sign up for the world's most wanted entry-level course. Become a fully certified PADI Open Water Diver and experience four dives in the Atlantic Ocean of Lanzarote. Take the plunge and explore the planet from below the surface. You should be 10 years or older, and adequate swimmer and fit to dive. There is no prior experience required. What will you learn? Through Knowledge Development sessions (eLearning, 6-8 hours independent self -study) you will learn the basic principles and safety standards of scuba diving. Study five chapters of the Open Water Diver Course and complete the final exam via PADI eLearning prior to course start. During the confined water sessions you will practice and master the required scuba diving skills in shallow water and get comfortable. In the four Open Water Dives you will use your previous learned skills and explore the underwater world. You will be trained to dive with a certified buddy to a maximum depth of 18 metres.

5.00I did my Open Water Diver at Scuba Legends Lanzarote and I am absolutely thrilled! 🙌 My instructor Raul was just great – calm, patient and with an incredible amount of experience. You immediately notice that he lives for diving and really wants to teach his students something. The diving school is small and personal, which I totally appreciated. Here you are not simply passed through, but given time to learn everything in peace and feel comfortable. I had 6 great dives, felt safe at all times and had a lot of fun. I can really recommend Scuba Legends to anyone who wants to learn diving or just experience great dives in Lanzarote! 🌊🐠

5.00I took the Advanced Open Water and Nitrox courses with them, and the experience was more than positive. First of all, the instructor Raúl is a genius; I learned a lot from him; he's very friendly and a great professional. And secondly, Lanzarote seabed is amazing, tons of underwater life (angel sharks, groupers, spiny butterfly rays, eagle rays, trumpet fish, seahorses, cuttlefish, etc.) and also wrecks—impressive! 5.00I recently completed my Open Water Course with Scuba Legends in Lanzarote, followed by two fun dives. It has been an incredible experience! ☺️ I had a private course with my instructor, Raúl, who was incredibly patient, calm and clear in his teaching. He always made sure I felt confident and safe before entering the water. He truly cares about creating good, respond divers, and kept it fun the whole time. The best balance between professionalism and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. The gear and equipment were all modern and well-maintained, and the team made sure I was properly fitted and fully prepared before each dive. Th marine life around Playa Chica really surprised me, it was way better than I expected. I saw seahorses, stingrays, nudibranchs, starfish, angelshark and of course so many colorful fishes! Each dive site offered something a bit different and the visibility was great. The whole team was friendly and encouraging, helping me build the right confidence and skills, opening the door to a whole new way of exploring the world. Inspired to continue, I’m already planning to take my Advanced course next :) I highly recommend Scuba Legends for anyone looking to learn diving or just enjoy some beautiful dives in the Canary Islands. 5.00After enquiring about the Advanced open water course with Scuba legends, the friendly and confident staff made me feel at ease. I knew straight away I wanted to complete my course with these guys. A day later I was in the water on my first dive navigation, not being initially confident with this aspect Raul quickly put my mind at rest. Explained everything in my terms and I couldn't wait to get in to put into practice. After that each dive came natural knowing my instructor made my experience comfortable, enjoyable and loved every minute. The deep dive was something I was looking forward to and didn't disappoint. Highly recommend these guys if your thinking of completing any aspects of diving. Novice or fun! Definitely be paying them another visit soon x
