Sea Lion Caves
Sea Lion Caves is the largest sea cave in the United States, and its home to, you guessed it dozens, sometimes hundreds of sea lions. If you're interested in seeing, hearing or smelling sea lions, this is the spot. If we head down the elevators into the caves you might want to plug your ears and nose. Note: The tour is over 200 miles long, with more than 170+ audio stories, and takes about 7-8 hours to complete. Buy once, use for one year! Ideal for extended visits and return trips over the next 12 months.
Florence
Florence is one of the larger communities on the Oregon Coast and, because of its proximity to the Oregon Dunes, it's a center for outdoor sports. If we are on a much longer driving itinerary, you might be interested to know that Florence is also roughly the halfway point between California and Washington.

We absolutely loved this guided tour! I’m recommending this app to my friends and family. Had we not used the app for our roadtrip we wouldn’t have gotten all the history of the cities we went through and wouldn’t have stopped at many of the really cool places the narrator suggested.

Lots of interesting tidbits given automatically when passing certain mile markers. Wish I could have added the directions to CarPlay as we had battling directions with Apple Maps. Also wish it adjusted when you back tracked on a road. It was confusing to listen to the messages backwards when we were temporarily going in a wrong direction.

Audio was not easy to stop and go again. Sometimes hard to follow. Then costed us valuable time by sending us down closed roads.

This audio tour worked exactly as advertised, making our drive interesting and easy, pointing out spots we would have missed, and preventing us from getting lost. Just using GPS would have kept us on the road but without any of the side adventures. We got history and food recommendations, and SO many hikes were highlighted with details about length, difficulty, etc. Also, the narration was not intrusive. It provided the information at just the right point on the drive. This way we didn't need to be checking guidebooks or maps but could enjoy the beauty of the coast. Highly recommend -- plus it's very inexpensive.

Came out to this area for a high school baseball tournament. Had a good part of one day and decided to drive to the coast. This self guided tour was so perfect! We drove from Lincoln City to Florence and this app guided us the entire way. It took us to the most spectacular spots with incredible views, historical lighthouses and beaches. There was a perfect amount of history, dry humor and description. It uses some kind of GPS, so it knows when to prep you for upcoming spots. Be sure to download it with wifi BEFORE you head to the area, the connection is spotty in some areas. Then you can use the app without interruption. Also make sure you can connect to your car via bluetooth or cord connection so everyone in car can enjoy.

The Oregon Coast Self Guided Driving Tour was well worth the money, in our opinion. We’re from the Midwest and this was our first time in Oregon for a destination wedding on Cannon Beach. We didn’t have a lot of time for planning and we found the driving tour to be quite informative. The narrator was enjoyable to listen to.

We really enjoyed our self-guided tour. With the magic of GPS, it knew exactly when to tell us to stop for sites, giving timely directions. When we were between sites, it provided us with history and facts about Mt Rainier. We learned so much more than going without!

We had a rough outline of our Hwy 101 Pacific Coast trip. When we plugged in the narrated Oregon Coast trip, all the details filled in. We have been very pleased with the cool spots that were pointed out that we totally would have missed otherwise. We have used other narrated trips and are never disappointed. This is so worth the nominal fee for the info provided. And he’s funny too! We loved it!

The tour include detailed maps, audio stories, and offline functionality so you don’t need cellular data while driving. These audio tours also cover fascinating history about the Native American tribes, settlers, and the Lewis and Clark expedition along the Oregon coast.
