Kayaking in the pacific waters was one of the most thrilling experience of my San Diego trip. Could almost feel the might of this mighty ocean while kayaking. It was around 2-2.5 hrs of kayaking followed by a short span of playing along the shores. My son and myself were fully covered with the kayaking gear which made us feel very confident before stepping into the kayak. We were a group of 8 people, with 2 members assigned to each kayak. Prior instructions on rowing the kayak was conveyed to us by our experienced and friendly guide, Josh. Josh had immense knowledge about the ocean and its mythology which he shared on our way to the cove. Pretty impressive trip to the blue waters and with a guide cum coach like Josh, the trip was a smooth sail.

Lauren was a great guide keeping everyone informed and safe. She pointed out the sea life and told good stories about the caves and area. We were not able to go into the caves due to size of waves crashing. You should check that out before you go based on time of year, weather and tides.

Awesome experience with the best guide, Deven. Deven provided us with lots of historical information about the area and was very knowledgeable about food locations.

It was a very pleasant experience kayaking with this group. I highly recommend this activity and company! I would recommend bringing your own water proof covering/bag for your cell phone if you want to bring your phone on the ride.

It was meh. Never got to go into caves and so was simply kayaking for 2 hours with a few stops to talk about what is under the ocean that we could not see. Also, charged me additional $13 when I got there for some reas since booked on Viator. I may have missed in fine print, but was not obvious if I did?

The two guys that took us out were awesome. We learned a lot about the area and ecosystem in LaJolla/Pacific Beach. We couldn’t go in the caves because of the rougher waters but we got to see them. It was a touch paddle but worth it.

It would have been a nice experience based on the time and activity duration, however the wakes were on the larger side that day and we couldn’t even get close to the cave as advertised, and we did not get any option or warning of this. The guides were very nice and did a good job explaining what to look for however, but we still got sea sick and made the activity not very enjoyable. I wish there was a warning or option offered the day of or evening when we were checking in.

Was very big waves. Didn’t get to go in the cave. We both got seasick and our kayak tipped right at the end as we were finishing
