• Best whale watching experience

  Boat captain Travis was the absolute best. He made the loading from the beach on a windy day seem like anyone could do it. Mario and Kyle were also friendly, making sure everyone had enough to drink and that their needs were fully met. Travis was able to find a pod of whales going north and followed them for as long as he could. The show the whales put on is without description. The rainbow over Lahaina at the end of the trip made it all worthwhile. Cannot say enough good things about our Sea Maui whale watching cruise. Highly recommend and would do it again in a heartbeat. It was worth every penny spent.

  Carrie, James, and Nico were great and we really enjoyed Tim McDill’s music. It was awesome seeing whales and taking in the beauty of the islands from the water.

  We took the dinner cruise with a group of four and had an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, we saw plenty of whales, and one of the coolest moments was getting to hear them singing through the hydrophone. The crew really made the trip special. Noah and Will mostly took care of our group—they were personable, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They even shared a bit about their lives in Maui, which made the experience feel more personal and welcoming. Captain Nick was fantastic—funny, engaging, and played great music throughout the cruise. He also shared a lot of interesting information about the whales, the local area, and the history of how the islands were formed. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and we will absolutely book again the next time we’re in Maui. 🌊🐋🎶

  This was such a fun cruise. The captain and crew were awesome! They made sure you had a drink in your hand at all times. They also served amazing snacks. To top it off, we got to see quite a few whales. It was an amazing trip. I highly recommend.

  Tour went beyond expectations! The service was great. The crew immediately served drinks and were repeatedly checking in and bringing more. The food was good as well. The captain James was spot on chasing whales before sunset and we got to see several up close! We had an amazing time, would highly recommend this company!

  Check in was very close and easy. They briefed us about the trip before going on and getting on was not a problem. The food was really good and they had plenty. The captain and 2 servers were so nice, talkative, and inviting. They talked with us and kept the drinks flowing. They are very knowledgeable about the whales so all around a great trip!

  I want to take a moment to recognize Emily at Sea Maui for truly exceptional service during our recent dinner cruise. During the cruise, an unfortunate situation occurred when another passenger made some insulting comments toward me. While I did my best to stay composed, it was understandably upsetting. Emily noticed immediately. Without hesitation, she approached me with genuine care and concern, offered to reseat us, and reassured me that this behavior was absolutely not reflective of their company values. What stood out most was that this situation was in no way the company’s fault, yet Emily still went above and beyond. She generously offered either a complimentary future cruise or a refund. That level of accountability, empathy, and professionalism is rare. As a small business owner myself, I was incredibly impressed. It is easy to deliver good service when everything is smooth. It is another thing entirely to respond with grace when something unexpected happens. Emily handled it beautifully and completely turned what could have been an awful evening into a meaningful reminder of how powerful excellent customer care can be. Beyond that, the cruise itself was fantastic. It was well organized, the team was fun and attentive, and they were incredibly knowledgeable about the whales, which were breathtaking and so close to the boat. The food was delicious, and the drinks kept flowing all evening. The entire crew created such a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere. Thank you, Emily, for taking care of me. I will always be grateful for the way you stepped in and handled everything. We will absolutely be cruising with Sea Maui again next year when we return. Mahalo🌺

  The sunset cruise was great! Amazing service and drinks! Staff was very friendly and attentive. They knew where the whales were and got us as close as possible to seeing them! Would go again on our next visit to Maui
