5.00I did the tour with the guide Mimi and it was an incredible experience! She took us to meet traditional Izakayas where we could taste various typical dishes, first aperitifs and then okonomiyaki and meat on the plate, in addition to traditional drinks, such as saké in a place I would never find alone. I had a lot of fun. She is attentive, good at chatting and it was a pleasure to spend the night with her! There was also a couple with me on the tour, so we were 4 people in total, it was a good number, which gave us a lot to talk and not get either too full or discouraged. I recommend!

5.00Oh my gosh we had the BEST experience! My husband and I came to Osaka from New York, we had no idea where to even begin with the food scene here. Kevin was kind, thoughtful, and informative. I highly recommend this tour if you want to get away from the large crowds and have a truly unique experience.

This is my 2nd time visiting Osaka and I wouldn’t have believed that this night could top previous experiences but Trey managed to blow my expectations out of the water. Instead of the usual tourist spots, Trey took us through small, local bars and hidden restaurants we never would have found or had the courage to go on our own. Every stop felt authentic, with amazing food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that really captured the spirit of Osakan hospitality. Trey was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about sharing the local culture. He explained the dishes, the history, helped us connect with the owners, and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Ending the night with karaoke was the perfect touch—fun, lively, and a great way to bond as a group. It felt like a true local night out rather than just a tour. If you want a unique, memorable experience that goes beyond the surface, this is absolutely the tour to take. Highly recommended!!

5.00We were part of a small group with Paul and had a great experience. We saw great local spots and we were pescatarian and they accommodated for us with no issue. Paul was informative about the area and told us a lot of interesting things on the walk to the different locations. Highly recommend. Would do it again!

5.00Paul was best tour guide. Stopped at spots in between to explain history, knowledgeable on all the foods, and went above and beyond. We had such a fun group that Paul took us to hidden local gems even after the tour ended (which he did not have to). He is American but fluent in Japanese and able to provide additional context and information that other tours have not been able to. Book Paul if you’re able to.
