5.00My wife and I just finished this tour and we had such a blast! Hitomi did an excellent job showing us the coolest (sometimes well hidden) gems, alongside explaining the dishes we were eating, as well as the cultural aspects and importance surrounding them. We recommend this tour to anyone new to Osaka looking for genuine local spots for food and drinks!

5.00Really cool experience. Tasted food and went to local shops that you wouldn’t have known. We had Jesse and he’s a local bar owner. Knew lots of the bars and restaurant. Very memorable night.

5.00I went back to Osaka for the second time and I knew we had to do another tour with taste Osaka. We previously did the backstreet nightlife and street food tour in 2024 and had an amazing time. I contacted Rodney who arranged a private tour with our group of friends. While the tour had a similar feel / vibe, Rodney and our tour guide Kevin made sure we visited different places to have a whole new experience. They also went above and beyond to arrange some extra surprises as we were celebrating a birthday on the night also. Anyone visiting Osaka, I always HIGHLY recommend doing this tour and to do it on your first night there if possible. This tour allows you to see the magic that Osaka has but can be difficult to navigate (especially in a larger group). Thank you Rodney and Kevin for an amazing night that me and my friends will be talking about for a long time to come.

5.00It was a great time, so glad we did the food tour. We definitely would not have wandered into the food stalls or bars ourselves. It was great to try the variety of dishes, again, most likely would not have known what to order on our own so I'm happy we got to try different dishes. Trey was a great host! Super welcoming! And the hosts/bartenders at the different bars/restaurants were very welcoming. It's a great time, you won't be disappointed :) :) :)

5.00This food tour was amazing!!! Kevin was such a great guide and gave us such fun and interesting back stories about everywhere we visited. Everything we ate was so delicious!! Okonomiyaki is my new favorite food. Cannot recommend this tour enough, what’s a trip to Osaka without a food tour after all!!
