We loved our experience, and Satsuki was an amazing guide. We met up at the Osaka Joiner office and did a quick meet and greet to go over any allergies and expectations. We were then advised that we would be traveling by metro to the locations and that we should have a certain amount of Yen for transactions due to the businesses being more local and not set up for tourists. The three locations we visited were all very near each other, and gave our group a chance to see the "real" Japan with the help of our guide. We loved getting out of our comfort zone and the other people in our group made the experience even more memorable!

Natsuki is Great local tour. The tour Guide was very caring, respectful and helpful. I will do it again when I am back in Osaka (because I will be back).

It was very pleasant to get to know another side of Osaka. Osaka without tourists. Bars and small restaurants where the people who live here stop. That the tour was so pleasant was mainly due to the guide Olivia, who led competently and very, very friendly through this tour. Thank you very much

I had an amazing private pub crawl with my Hungarian/Swiss guide Miki. I'd been doing a lot of touristy stuff in Dotonbori with my traveling companion, but like a true disciple of Bourdain, I wanted to see real Osaka. Miki speaks excellent Japanese and took me to the places in Kyobashi that gaijin like me normally can't go. Having a japanese interpreter opened so many doors! We started at a few izikaya local spots to try various small tasty bites and sample all the local drinks. We were the only gaijin everywhere we went and got a lot of stares, which was an experience. I highly recommend trying the local plum liquor WITHOUT the soda mixer that the japanese do. The liquor by itself tastes like an amazing whiskey sour. After visiting a few of these izikaya hidden gems, I told Miki that I wanted to try some japanese craft cocktails and high-end whiskey. So we pivoted, changed the itinerary, and ended up at some time craft cocktail lounge that you need a pass code to enter. Miki told them that I was a bartender in America, so the bartender made me an amazing unique cocktail with japanese whiskey and let me try his artisinial, not-exactly-legal homemade absinthe moonshine prepared in the proper Parisan style. Long story short, it was an amazing, authentically japanese experience off the beaten path. Highly recommend. Miki was awesome.
