Mio was a great tour guide. She was bubbly, friendly and knowledgeable about food. We tried a lot of things I would never have thought to try. All very good. The only thing I would do different is get there earlier to meet. The directions for the meeting place were excellent. We just underestimated time to get there from our hotel. Overall would do again.

It was an amazing way to explore the food culture of Osaka. Our host Nick was very welcoming, and took us to places we would not have chosen ourselves otherwise. He also told us a lot about the history of Osaka, which was very interesting. The food and drinks were delicious, highlights were the grilled gyoza, and the best takoyaki of our trip. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

My family and I had a great time on this tour through Shinsekai, Osaka. Our guide Hikaru was excellent - very friendly and knowledgeable - and the food was delicious. There were several stops at restaurants that were pre-booked for our group, all with different local foods for us to try. There was a little bit of walking, but the focus was on sitting and enjoying the array of street foods that were ordered for us, and also some local drinks. As well as the four members of our family, there was another group of four, so it was easy to interact with everyone, and nice to talk to the other family about their holiday experiences in Japan. This was a lovely way to spend an evening, and I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in trying some of the local street foods that you may not usually discover by yourself. My advice would be to wear comfortable clothes, and don't eat much before you arrive, because there's an abundance of food, and you will definitely not leave feeling hungry!
