  • Fantastic Food Tour

This food tour was fantastic and included so many different dishes. The food at every store was delicious and the guide was informative about the origin and local customs surrounding each dish. The dishes offered on the tour are very accessible even for people who don't eat raw fish or seaweed. There are two drinks included with the tour however if you're planning to pay for additional drinks than I suggest bringing some smaller notes with you

Michael was awesome! He was friendly, professional, told great stories and cultural tips, and made sure we ate plenty of delicious foods! We were able to visit restaurants /izakayas that we never would have found on our own. I would definitely recommend this food tour to anyone visiting Osaka!

Very knowledgeable and fun guide, talks about the area and history, but the food selection was very underwhelming for the price of the tour, unfortunately. The food was good, it was just very basic. This tour is for someone who wants to try the bare basic foods of Japan, no frills. I'm not sure if different guides go to different restaurants, but I feel that if I paid $85USD we should have received better quality and variety. Overall it was something fun to do to fill time.

  • Second time - didn’t disappoint.

This was the second time I’ve taken this tour and it did not disappoint. We visited mostly different sites than the last time, which was nice. Our guide, Nick, was fantastic! So friendly and knowledgeable - and helped ensure our group of four had a wonderful time. He even sent us a special gift for the birthday girl in our group. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who has limited time in Osaka and wants to eat. Arigato gozaimas!

Japan has some amazing food and this is a great way to try food you might not on your own! Loved all of the different things we were given to try.
