  We had an a great time on our food tour with Yuichi! Along with being a native Japanese he also has spent time abroad and is very knowledgeable of other food customs which made our tour with Yuichi feel very personalized. He also had notes on our allergies and kept it in mind as we went to the food spots. It was great to spend time with him in a local area of Osaka, where each venue offered dishes from the area and there was a LOT to eat. Yuichi also gave us the history on the foods we were trying what was great. Be sure to come hungry and get ready to have a great time on this food tour.

  First up, don’t think for a second that you will be getting small portions, so probably best to watch what you eat from lunchtime onwards. You will be offered a wide variety yummy things to try over several hours on the tour including a vast selection of drinks for all tastes. There is some easy walking involved with a few steps but all completely doable for almost all levels of ability. The best bit by far of this tour was our guide Mari. Not only was she knowledgeable and informative about the food provided and Japanese history more broadly but she was really interesting and interested. She made everyone feel comfortable and accommodated in our group that had an age range from 16 years up to a couple of lucky retirees. The time flew by as everyone was so engaged and genuinely enjoying themselves. In the end my family of four decided to walk the 30 mins back to our accommodation rather than catch a train as it was a lovely night and we were all very full as well. Don’t hesitate, just book it and enjoy!

  Great evening out with a fun international group of foodies, discovering some great local eateries around Shinsekai. Our guide was so energetic and enthusiastic. Great value for money!

  We had a great time with James. He gave us a lot of local knowledge. Food and drinks were excellent. It was a lot of fun! Highly recommend!

  Amazing tour! We taste different types of japanese food ! Cecilia was very funny, she gave us lots of informations in Japanese culture. We highly recommend it !

  Osaka food tour is amazing, Mark and Kevin are awesome. Kevin was an outstanding guide this afternoon. Knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely attentive to everyone, he made the experience memorable. Definitely the greatest experience in Osaka.
