The retro district will share its charm with wacky game palors & friendly vendors while the Dotonbori will provide a sensory overload, billboards galore!
Osaka Castle will also showcase it's immense role in Japan's unification (only 5hr or 7hr tours)

Hozenji Yokocho
These hard to find winding, cobblestone alleys steeped with character & tradition is remarkable . We'll also find walls painted with Osaka's history etched into it.
Dotonbori Tsuribori
Visiting Osaka's Dotonbori River is a must.....one of our highlights. Along side this picturesque scene is a treasure trove full of more than a variety of stores to entertain you.

5.00When traveling by cruise, we always arrange a private tour/experience for our small group only. On this trip, we were a group of six ranging in age from 21 to 70, and there was one couple with us, making our group eight. Our guide was Mari and she was perfect for our group! She was extremely knowledgable about Osaka, was able to answer any questions we had no matter how obscure, and we learned about the long history of Osaka and more recent cultural aspects including “love hotels” and foods to try. Mari made our day the most it could be and the three hours went by quickly! This trip involved walking for the entire three hours except for a short stop to try a local food - this was good for us and we all had on good walking shoes. Osaka has a buzz, very lively, and Mari fit right in to this!

5.00Knox was friendly, knowledgeable with great knowledge of the areas behind and hidden outside of the tourist spots. Great historical context but never dry or hard to understand; he has lived here a long time and has great perspective but very much has a passion for the true Osaka lifestyle. He’s a true Osakan and an excellent guide. So adaptable and easy to customize tours to your style, excellent!

5.00Mario was a great tour guide. Informative and amusing in equal measure, this 3 hour tour provided a good orientation to Osaka. He provided a wonderful mix of fun facts and good insight into Osaka and Japan. His restaurant recommendations were excellent. A really worthwhile 3 hour walking tour.
