This was a wonderful, comprehensive tour which provided transportation to a wide range of Oslo attractions. Who knew an Olympic ski jump could be such an interesting visit? By far the highlight for us was the open-air Norsk Folkemuseum. The different historical structures were very cool to see. Our tour guide, Rita, was extremely knowledgeable and indefatigable. She did an awesome job!

Chris was a good tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the history and pointed out interesting facts about the sculpture garden and museums - including an outdoor museum. It was a fair bit of walking with one steep hill climb towards the end of the tour. The ski jump was interesting to see. Do not take a cab from the port to catch the bus as they take advantage of tourists. We overpaid for the cab. The tour bus dropped us off at the port and that was great!

My wife and I really enjoyed our Oslo Discovery Tour. As others have said, the tour ensures you see most of the major sites of the city and surrounding areas. So, if you don’t have a lot of time in Oslo this is the perfect tour. I do need to recognize our tour guide Chris. He is just outstanding! I’ve done a lot of tours in Europe and he is right up there with the very best. He is professional and prepared as well as being an excellent speaker. I also enjoyed his Scandinavian dry sense of humor. He will make sure everyone is having fun.

It was nice to visit the places we visited. Just wish we would have been able to see more of the Folk Museum.

Oslo is a beautiful city with so many interesting sites. Our guides were very knowledgeable and delivered their information with a touch of humour! We would definitely like to return and see more of Oslo We were running late for the start ( the ship docked further away than we thought ) so we quickly got a taxi so we wouldn’t be late. Unfortunately the driver ripped us off as a ( minute trip cost over 500 kr! Kindly, the driver dropped a few of us back near the ship at the end of the tour Also there were places to buy nice food and great coffee on the tour ( and the bus even had coffee hot chocolate etc )

Our Oslo Discovery Tour was outstanding, and a huge part of that experience was our guide, Chris. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about Oslo’s history, culture, and people. Chris blended fascinating historical details with humor and local insight, making the entire tour both informative and enjoyable. The pacing was perfect, the sights were beautiful, and Chris made sure everyone felt included and comfortable throughout the experience. This tour gave us a much deeper appreciation for Oslo than we could have gotten on our own. Highly recommend this tour — and if you get Chris as your guide, you’re in for a real treat!
