Set off on a scenic island-hopping adventure on the Oslofjord using the city’s all-electric public ferries, just like the locals. Discover a quieter, more natural side of Oslo as you cruise across open water on a series of short boat journeys, taking in wide views of green islands, charming cabins, and distant hills.
Step ashore on two unique islands. On one, explore coastal paths, forests, meadows, and beaches while learning about over 1,000 years of history and how nature shaped local life. On the other, experience Norway’s cabin culture among colorful wooden cottages and blooming gardens, hearing how these simple retreats have long been a place to slow down and enjoy the outdoors.
Along the way, enjoy stunning viewpoints, fascinating stories, and moments to relax or take photos. Your guide shares local insights throughout, bringing each place to life. Return by ferry with beautiful views of Oslo’s waterfront and Aker Brygge, ending a memorable and refreshing nature escape.

A very nice route on the islands to better discover and understand the history and lifestyle of the Norwegians with a guide, Jon, at the top, clear explanations and answers to questions, a big thank you to him.

A really great trip to see two of the islands I wouldn’t have normally seen. Jon, the guide, was very knowledgeable and fun.

Very enjoyable and informative - a good amount of walking and lots to see! A great way to see more of Norway only 15 minutes from the city 😁

The tour was absolutely BRILLIANT! We had the best tour guide Jon, he knew so much about Norway and its history, now we do too! The islands are absolutely beautiful, interesting and so much better than we expected. This was the highlight of our trip. Once again a BIG thank you to Jon!

I would go on this tour again in a minute. The guide, John, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient with all questions, and enthusiastic about his job. The day was cold and rainy, but our small, intrepid group embraced it because the islands are rugged and beautiful with fascinating histories and bountiful flora. Highly recommend.

A great way to spend a couple of hours orientating yourself in Oslo. Our guide, Giovanni, was hugely knowledgeable about Oslo, the nature of the islands, and the culture of Norway.

A great mini-tour with our Giovanni who was very friendly and knowledgable on the sights and history of Oslo. Hot drinks and biscuits provided at the short picnic stop en-route. When we win the lottery we will join the waiting list for one of the islands summer cabins!
