Our Ottawa River tour offers the finest views along the Ottawa River. This 1 1/2 hour tour is the most thorough tour available on the water. Departures from the Hull Marina in Jacques Cartier Park, and the Ottawa Dock at the foot of the Ottawa Locks. Both tours have live bilingual commentaries.

Paul's Boat Lines
The Paula D is ideal for an excursion. You have the opportunity to see the beautiful landscape of Ottawa, and relax and enjoy a nice cold beverage on the large upper deck. In addition, on the lower deck, our passengers will find our canteen and our bar (with permission to sell alcohol). The cruise offers a spectacular view of the city and allows you to see the river as it was used long ago: as a highway to transport resources. You will also see the natural beauty of the region that captured the imagination of the first European explorer Samuel de Champlain.

5.00Lovely cruise down the Ottawa river - our guide Lily was informative and had a good patter - although it was hard to hear her at times due to passengers talking loudly and the speakers not working all that well.

5.00Our group had a wonderful evening celebrating our friend’s retirement, listening to the Dueling Pianos, and strolling down the river. Service was amazing - special shoutout to Olivia who served us with a smile and kept the drinks flowing all night. Highly recommend…we plan on coming back next year!

4.00The trip was pleasant and the guides and crew were friendly however if you want to see views of the city, this is not the right tour. It's a trip down the Ottawa River and you see almost nothing of the city because of the beautiful trees. On the other hand, the Rideau Canal trip to Dow lake takes you through the city at street level and under the many bridges.

5.00Boarding directions were a bit sketchy, and as it turned out the walk was daunting for some. The cruise itself was great, if somewhat short. Wendy, the commentator, and Cody the barista, were both very good.and we enjoyed them. One thing I found peculiar was that the trip up the river was informative and calm, with a nice quick stop at the falls for photos. Could have used another couple of brief rests for other key photo ops. However, when we turned around, they put on very loud dance music! Might have been ok for locals on a hen party, but for tourists in groups it was inappropriate.
