What To Expect
Rideau Hall
Rideau Hall - The official home of the Governor General of Canada. In 1977, Rideau Hall and the surrounding sites were also part of Canada’s national historic heritage.
Rideau Canal National Historic Site
The canal was opened in 1832 as a precaution in case of war with the United States. It remains in use today primarily for pleasure boating, with most of its original structures intact, operated by Parks Canada. The locks on the system open for navigation in mid-May and close in mid-October. It is the oldest continuously operated canal system in North America, and in 2007 it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

5.00A wonderful experience to know the capital city of the canada Ottawa. Caroline was an excellent guide who shared the history of the city and took us to know the historical heritage of parliament. Canal rideau. The craft market and the Museum of Canadian history. The driver and concord travel guide provide five-star service. We highly recommend it.
