I experienced a one of a kind tour with tour guide Gustavo! The enchanting and essential history of the Lady of Guadalupe in Santa Fe left me speechless. In well trodded paths of the city, there she is, one of the defining symbols of Mexico and of the universal divine feminine come to life. Gustavo indigenous to Mexico, shares a delightful and defining story of the past and the present that illuminates the heart of Santa Fe and its people! The walking tour is colorful, earthly, spiritual and lots of fun with friends or solo. Gustavo has lots of historical surprises to share as well. Don't miss this tour. Lots to look for!

This was the best walking tour I’ve been on in my life. The connection between history and modern times, all through the Guadalupe lens, was mind blowing. I will be recommending this to everyone who comes to Santa Fe.

Finding a truly good person when traveling is a rare find. Gustavo was that rare find. This was one of the best guided tours that I have ever taken. Do not hesitate to book this tour - it is definitely worth it ! It was substantive, thought provoking and enjoyable ! Gustavo’s research is evident and the way he relates the history and facts are easy to understand a poetic. My family had the best time !

Met with Gustavo at the designated place to learn more about the special significance of the many artistic presentations of Our Lady of Guadalupe throughout Santa Fe. We learned about current street art, both city approved and “impulsively created.” We saw many images in the Farmers’ Market, the city, the old barrio and spent a lot of time at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The walking tour was interesting and well researched. Information was presented from a nondenominational point of view but it is evident that “Our Lady” chooses certain people to spread her message of love and acceptance. There was a lot of walking through the city and the tour lasted over three hours. There was a lot of information shared with us. It would not be easy for anyone with mobility issues or young children but we enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about Santa Fe and the importance of Our Lady of Guadeloupe to the inhabitants of Santa Fe.

I wasn’t sure what to expect since I haven’t been on a tour in quite some time. It was a beautiful day and I was impressed with Gustavo’s knowledge and preparation. I learned so much and I enjoyed my tour.

Our tour with Gustavo was a significant part of my first visit to New Mexico. I knew very little of Our Lady of Guadalupe prior to our tour, and left with so much - as other tour participants have commented, Gustavo is an extremely knowledgable and engaging leader. As a Canadian, I was particularly saddened to learn that families in this community are searching for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, much like too many Indigenous family members in Canada search for and hope for the return of their missing family members, and grieve the loss of those who will not return. I look forward to hearing of Gustavo's future ventures, and wish him continued success.
