It's a scavenger hunt, escape room, and urban crawl all-in-one. Follow the storyline around town as you find clues and use them to crack codes. Then enter solutions on the app to find out where to go next. Clues can be anywhere - murals, statues, landmarks, and more!
Plan on about two hours of playtime, depending on your experience level and how much time you spend exploring along the way. Difficulty level is adjustable - take as many or as few hints as you’d like!
Bookings made a week or more in advance receive their kit in the mail. Bookings made less than a week in advance will pick up their kit at the start point on the day of the adventure - exact pickup location is sent after booking.

What To Expect
An immersive clue-solving adventure around the Garment District. It's a cross between an escape room and a scavenger hunt! You only need to purchase one ticket for a group of up to 6. The city is literally your game board. Search for real-world clues and solve puzzles, then enter solutions on the app to find out where to go next. The game consists of a physical box and clues you must find in the real world, all around the Garment District in Kansas City. Plan on about two hours of play time, depending on experience level and how much time you spend exploring along the way. A mysterious murder. Six Suspects. A string of clues. Investigate the evidence to eliminate crime locations and check alibis until you can make an accusation. Do you have what it takes to put the pieces together and crack the case? 5.00This is so much fun! I did it with my husband and 13 year old. It was challenging but they will give you some hints if you need them, without giving you the answers. We got to enjoy the city as well. 100% recommend it!

5.00Super fun and some of the puzzles were fairly tricky! I feel like it goes without saying, but be prepared to walk! You get to see some things I've never seen in KC and I've lived here almost all my life!

5.00My teenage boys find a reason to complain about everything and they were complaining about having to do this. But once we got going everyone had fun and it flowed well and kept everyone engaged. We ended up going to a park we had never been to before and learned a little history we did not know. The puzzles were tricky but overall not impossible and we ran into one that we had trouble with and fortunately we could choose to reveal the answer. It was exactly as advertised included how long it would take to do and really kind of clever how it works. We immediately looked to do it in a city we are traveling to later this summer and had never been to before.

5.00We had an absolute blast. It helped that there were some bars in the area. We made a day out of it, and would stop in a bar and have a few beers while we figured out the clue. We did need to get hints at the beginning, until we learned what to expect from the clues.

5.00Finding things to do that are fun for the entire family is difficult, but Escapely's outdoor escape room checked all the boxes. My family (two adults and two teens) all enjoyed the puzzles and thought the game had a pretty good difficulty level: hard enough to stay challenged, but not so hard to be frustrated (and the hints helped us get through the more difficult puzzles). Plus we got to wander through part of the city we wouldn't normally frequent, and learn a little KC history along the way. We liked it so much that we bought another one for my niece and nephews to do when they're in town.

5.00We had an absolute blast! I thought it was a great way to explore an area that was new to me in KC. I played with a group of 5 people. For us, the difficulty was exactly what I wanted for the experience - required some thought but not so difficult that we couldn't keep things moving or have fun with it! I hope to play again in another city soon!
