Plan on about two hours of playtime, depending on your experience level and how much time you spend exploring along the way. Difficulty level is adjustable - take as many or as few hints as you’d like!
Bookings made a week or more in advance receive their kit in the mail. Bookings made less than a week in advance will pick up their kit at the start point on the day of the adventure - exact pickup location is sent after booking.

What To Expect
An immersive clue-solving adventure around East Allegheny. It's a cross between an escape room and a scavenger hunt! You only need to purchase one ticket for a group of up to 6. The city is literally your game board. Search for real-world clues and solve puzzles, then enter solutions on the app to find out where to go next. The game consists of a physical box and clues you must find in the real world, all around East Allegheny in Pittsburgh. Plan on about two hours of play time, depending on experience level and how much time you spend exploring along the way. A mysterious murder. Six Suspects. A string of clues. Investigate the evidence to eliminate crime locations and check alibis until you can make an accusation. Do you have what it takes to put the pieces together and crack the case? 5.00The game was AWESOME! I have been raving about it to everyone. I played with my husband, parents, and my brother and his gf (all of us Pittsburgh natives) and we loved seeing the city through new eyes. Our favorite part was finding the specific brick/facades of the buildings. We are thinking about ordering another city and taking a day trip!

5.00A group of 6 of us took a girls trip to Pittsburgh to do the Outdoor Escape Room. We had a blast! Using the real world clues was a great way to explore the area. (We had already booked an AirBnB in Deutschtown, so this was absolutely perfect!) We ran into another group starting their escape as we finished ours! We were so pleased to meet another group doing it. We are already planning where our next trip will be to include another Outdoor Escape Room. Thank you so much for putting these together!

5.00Four friends joined in this Escapely Who Dunnit adventure on the Northside of Pittsburgh known as Deutschtown. The starting point takes place on a fun street and the game leads you to clues at a nearby park, painting on walls, signed, etc. Directions are very good even if you are not familiar with the area. The difficulty level was perfect … but if (or when) you needed a hint they were available! The game is quite clever and really makes you use your brain(s). Kudos to the Escapely crew for such a fun afternoon with a lot of laughs. Highly recommended by our group.

4.00It was a great experience, challenging but fair clues. My only complaint is that it was awkward walking around doing a family activity in the middle of an economically depressed area, felt disrespectful to the locals.

5.00We had a blast with the escape room game. We do a bunch of escape rooms, scavenger hunts, and board games, and we found the difficulty level to be just right for a casual afternoon out with friends and their kid, who especially liked being able to participate and feel like he wasn’t in over his head (he’s six-ish). I think our favorite part was being able to use the game as a reason to reconnect with our friends who we hadn’t seen for a while, visit a part of Pittsburgh we don’t spent enough time in, hang out, and get some food and drinks before and after (we loved the local recommendations like Prantl’s and Allegheny City Brewing). Totally great social experience, and we’ll be recommending it to everyone we know who loves games as much as we do. We even talked about grabbing a copy for some nearby local cities as a pretense to go on a road trip.

5.00Such a cool little neighborhood although as the day went on, there were some rough characters around. The game was lots of fun and we only needed a few extra clues. There were 5 of us playing. There was one clue that we couldn't get because the name of the business had changed so that needs to be updated. Otherwise we had a great time and enjoyed looking around the neighborhood. Afterwards we cooled off in Allegheny City Brewing and got sandwich wraps from the Smash Shack. We would definitely play a game like this again.
