06:30 - You will be greeted and picked up from your hotel and driven to the starting point of the trekking. 10:15 – At the beginning, you will visit the Hulu waterfall and Thaliya waterfalls and then proceed to Bambarella falls. 12:00 – On arrival to the Bambarella falls you can enjoy the view. 12:40 – Enjoy lunch by the waterfall. 14:00 – Thereafter you will do a 3Km trekking to your campsite. 16:30 – Reach to Knuckles waterfall and enjoy afternoon tea nearby. 18:30 – Head back to campsite and relax. 20:30 - Enjoy your dinner around the campfire.

06:45 – Wake up early in the morning to enjoy your breakfast. 07:30 – You will start your trekking to the peak of Knuckles Mountain range which is about 1856m. 11:30 - Reach to the top and enjoy the surrounding and picturesque view from the mountain. 14:00 – Head back to the campsite and have lunch. 18:00 – After a trilling experience, you will be driven back to your hotel in Kandy.

5.00Nazz from Overa was extremely helpful in giving us information about trip options and organising the trip in a timely fashion. From the pick up from our hotel and the hike itself, everything was well organised. Siva, our guide, was so knowledgeable about the local environment, culture and history that the hike was not only a beautiful experience but an educational one as well. The scenery was amazing throughout- tea plantations, fields of other crops, rainforest, waterfalls and amazing lookouts. Siva always matched our pace and was helpful with leech management too. The campsite was comfortable in a wood cabin with ensuite toilet and shower and all the meals throughout the hike were delicious and prepared by locals. The dinner was a particular highlight. I would highly recommend this company and a special shoutout to Siva, our fantastic guide.

5.00Overa Tours, and in particular Mr. Nazz arranged for us an exceptional tour in Sri Lanka according to our needs. Mr. Nazz is professional on his work and was much of his help during our days in Sri Lanka. We had a great time at Knuckles Mountain. We loved the time that we spent with our travel guide Mr. Mayura as he is a kind person with much knowledge, and professional in the trek. The Safari that we had in Minneriya National Park was a great experience, too. The driver, Mr. Amila is a kind person and professional on his work. Thank you all for making our holidays in Sri Lanka so unique!

5.00We had a great two day trip in the Knuckles mountain region. One of the most strenuos hikes for us ever, but 100% worth it. Our guide, Janaka, was an excellent host, singing songs at the bonfire and explaining wildlife to us. We even enjoyed some cooking lessons at the camp, free of charge. We only spotted one other couple during the two days. highly recommended.

5.00What a great trip! We loved every minute - the bumpy tuk tuk ride, lunch in the local village, swimming at the waterfall, visiting a local family home who cooked fantastic food, camping in the wild, stargazing at the campfire, the great views and nature during the hike. Our two guides A.P. and Tharanga were really friendly and seemed to know the area really well - they always had stories to tell and constantly pointed out animals, plants and historical sites. They made sure our safety was a priority and we felt well looked after. We done the easier hike, which was fun with a great view at the top. Maybe next time we will attempt the harder one! This trip is a must visit to experience a more rural Sri Lanka.
