What To Expect

The first stop of the day will be Warwick Castle, a striking place brimming with history and activities. Originally built by William the Conqueror in 1068, this castle is now a highly interactive venue that’s great for all ages. Wander through the beautiful Great Hall and State Rooms, spot peacocks in the landscaped gardens and explore the castle’s towers and ramparts. Meet and greet experience as they arrive at Warwick Castle by a special medieval host as well as an introduction to the spectacular castle. From 1st April 2025, you can enjoy an exclusive private hidden gems tour at Warwick Castle. Led by an expert guide, see rooms that are not generally accessible to the public as you gain deeper insight into the Castle's history.

Warwick castle is cool, but does have a strong Disney vibe to it, clearly catering to the younger market. Still enjoyable, just good to know you’re going in to that style of narrative. Cedric the Tour guide was good, with a lot of random bits of knowledge. The televisions in our half of the bus weren’t working so bring your own entertainment just in case. I’d recommend this tour, but I’d put it second below other perhaps more iconic locations, unless you specifically want to see one or more of those in this tour.
