You learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. During the course, you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.
The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills.

What To Expect
*Please note that the PADI Fee (for the PADI Rescue Diver Manual and PADI certification costs) of total 70 Euros is not included in the course fee. If you want to take the theory of the course online by PADI Rescue Diver eLearning you have to purchase it on the PADI website and register with our diving centre Divinguru Unawatuna, PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, S-36133. Minimum Certification Age is 12 Yrs+ Proof of EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months. If you don't have this certification you can do the EFR Course at our Diving Centre along with the Rescue Diver Course. It takes half to one day and cost 95 Euro plus 70 Euro for the EFR Manual, Certification and Card. Course Content and Schedule: For the PADI RESCUE DIVER Course you have to complete 5 theoretical sections with Knowledge Reviews and a Final Exam. The practical part contains 10 Exercises and 2 Rescue Scenarios. The PADI RESCUE DIVER Course takes around 3 to 5 days and the schedule is flexible mix of classroom and inwater practice depending on ability and fitness of students.

5.00One of the best diving centers in my experience as a diver, I was able to finish my Rescue Diver course, my instructor was Kartik, he did everything in the world to make me understand the importance of a Rescue diver and today he is a great friend of my Finally I did my Dive Master course with Norbert and Elli, it was an extraordinary adventure step by step, they helped me throughout the entire process, they advised me, educated me and turned me into a professional, I appreciate them very much and I will always be grateful for the support. Diving for me is incredible and I want to do it everywhere in the world but without a doubt in Sri Lanka the best is Divinguru. Everything was very professional from the beginning. Thank you Hans for the trust and allowing the entire process. Today as a Dive Marster I feel lucky to start my studies with you.
