TO CRUISERS: the port of Messina town is far away from the city of Palermo, if you are docking in Messina, do not book this tour. We can't provide a refund if you realize this passed the deadline.

Angelo brought the city of Palermo and its lively markets to life for us. The food was great and his explanations of history, culture, and current events brought a lively city down to eye level for us. The only pointer we would give is that whisper boxes would have assisted us in hearing him better through the busy city streets.

We had a great evening with Alessandra walking through Palermo to all the great street food stops. We had a lovely group who got on well. Be prepared to be pushed to your limits with one local dish which is definitely an acquired taste!

This was a wonderful experience to do on our first full day in Palermo. We were fortunate to have Angelo as our guide - what a charming, friendly, funny, well-informed person to show us around! We didn't want the 3 hours to end. We would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone visiting Palermo, to taste the food of the city, and to walk the interesting streets, learning so much about the area.

We just finished our tour with Alessandro. He was great-very informative and funny. All of the foods and wines that we tried were wonderful. We got to try some local wines, pastas, appetizers, and pastries which is exactly what we were hoping to do, and all were delicious. I would definitely recommend this tour.
