This tour is limited to 10 participants, ensuring you an open interaction with the tour guide, the local vendors and the other travelers. TO CRUISERS: the port of Messina town is far away from the city of Palermo, if you are docking in Messina, do not book this tour. We can't provide a refund if you realize this passed the deadline.

The tour is suitable for vegetarians and pescatarians, except one food stop. Alternatives to celiac travelers can be provided if we are informed at the time of booking.
MUST KNOW: most traditional street foods are baked or fried, fat and full of carbs. Do not expect seafood.

5.00Angelo brought the city of Palermo and its lively markets to life for us. The food was great and his explanations of history, culture, and current events brought a lively city down to eye level for us. The only pointer we would give is that whisper boxes would have assisted us in hearing him better through the busy city streets.

5.00We had a great evening with Alessandra walking through Palermo to all the great street food stops. We had a lovely group who got on well. Be prepared to be pushed to your limits with one local dish which is definitely an acquired taste!
