The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of the city. The tourist is guided by a Foodie, a local buddy able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

5.00Carlo did an excellent job of our tour. Not only did he provide delicious food, he also gave us an interesting history of the food and the area. I especially appreciated how he answered all our questions and was very keen to share his knowledge of Palermo. Highly recommended.

4.00Our guide PJ was warm and friendly, gave us lots of interesting history and facts about Palermo. The food was delicious. The pace of the tour was great! The meeting place is hard to find after dark, not well marked, a bit dark and out of the way. We were worried we were in the wrong place.

5.00Our tour guide, Nadia, was amazing !! She took us to really good places and had a very nice way of storytelling - the right amount of details, with fun anecdotes and humor. She also took the extra effort to translate to Spanish as one of my friends didn't speak English. Really fun, essy going and tasty experience. Totally recommended!!

The variety of dishes was incredible — I got to try so many local specialties I’d never have found on my own; water, beer and local softdrinks came along. The guide Nadia was super friendly, knowledgeable, and shared great insights about the history and culture behind each stop. Everything was well-organized, and the pacing felt just right. Highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to taste authentic local food!

5.00Nadia was amazing. We were running late and texted us immediately to make sure they didn't leave without us. She was very knowledgeable of the area and gave us a lot of cool fun facts of the area. The food was great service in each restaurant, was quick and they all treated us well. I Highly recommend Nadia!
