Via Vittorio Emanuele
You’ll kick off the food tour in Palermo with two absolute must-tries that give a true overview of Sicily’s rich, bold street-food culture: panino ca’ meusa and the classic panino with panelle and crocchè. All of this unfolds in the vibrant atmosphere of the historic center, especially along Via Vittorio Emanuele, where centuries-old palazzi, bustling markets, and the constant hum of local life create the perfect backdrop. The smells of frying panelle, the calls of street vendors, and the mix of locals and travelers make this stretch of Palermo an unforgettable introduction to the city’s soul.

We were traveling in a small group with Chiara. We were four people and got along very well - a great opportunity to meet people from other countries. Chiara was very friendly, helpful and competent. We could talk great in English. She took time for all questions and patiently guided us through Palermo. We feasted and learned a lot about the city itself. Thank you so much!

Chiara was a really great guide during the street food tour in Palermo! 😊 He accompanied us with great sympathy and professionalism, telling us many curiosities and interesting details about the city and its culinary tradition. He made us taste delicious typical products, one better than the other, and took us to the right places to experience Palermo in an authentic way. Perfect experience: we are delighted... and especially with a full stomach! 😄 Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Maybe a bun with lard-fried spleen and lungs isn't for everyone. The Sicilians love it though and we enjoyed it. Overall, it was a very nice tour with lots of tips for your further stay and tasty insights into Palermo's steet food. The sweet conclusion of the tour was in a charming monastery garden. We paid another €5 for admission and went to see the monastery church, the panoramic roof and the monastery. A great surprise that we hadn’t had on our screen before and which in our eyes dwarfed Palermo Cathedral. So culinary and culturally a very nice and interesting tour. Thank you!

We had a lovely time with Federico on a night food tour. Federico provided lots of historical information about where we were visiting and the food origins. It was a great tour and we had a lovely time. Very large portions, we left stuffed. Last comment, I'm a vegetarian and these tours are normally just so-so for me but they made a real effort to provide real vegetarian options. Highly recommend the tour.
