On a hot summer's day, one of the best things to do in Palm Springs is to take a ride from the dry desert floor with the Aerial Tramway, 5,873 feet up into the cool climate of the San Jacinto Mountains. Come and ascend into a pristine wilderness aboard the world's largest rotating tramcars! Truly one of the greatest experiences in Southern California!

Please present voucher to the ticket office. Tickets will be timed for the next available tram car as a first come first serve basis.
The Tramway is subject to delays and periodic shutdowns due to unforeseen circumstances and is not responsible for ticket refunds or the inability to redeem a voucher
Tramway cars hold 80 people each and there are no seats. Passengers remain standing throughout the journey up the mountain
Distance is approximately 12,800 feet, with a vertical ascent of 5,873 feet - 15 minutes travel time one way
The tramway is known as a double reversible type of aerial tramway. Each car remains on one pair of track cables moving up and down without turning around. Each car serves as a counter balance to the other, the descending car is helping pull the ascending car up the mountain
Strollers are permitted on this tour
During holiday periods, you may experience long lines. We recommend you travel outside of these peak times to fully enjoy everything the tramway and mountain have to offer.
There is parking in 13 paved lots near Valley Station. There is free shuttle service from parking lots to Valley Station entrance available weekends and holiday periods

5.00Family of 8 adults had a great experience. Get tickets in the morning for a trip later that day. Up and down were a fun ride and entertaining staff. Restaurant at the top was good, glad we made reservation.

5.00Very fun experience. We went in December. It was 84 degrees in Palm Springs. Beautiful day at the top. There was actually snow. Walked a trail a bit took some great photos. Arrived around 10. Purchased tickets easily. Got a coffee then it was our time slot. 10:45. Cute gift shop. Had a nice lunch in the restaurant with great views. We didn’t have reservations but it was not a problem. Arrived and departed via Lyft. Drove us right to the entrance. It is something I would recommend you do if you have the time at least once.

5.00Online tickets sold out more than a week in advance near the holidays, but arrived at 7:20 for an 8am opening. Purchased tix at 7:30, no line, parking lot A, and got on the first 8am tram. Left around 11am after doing the shorter hikes. Some patchy snow on trails covered with sand for better grip.

1.00Advertised as fully refundable if 24 hours or more before excursion but when I tried to cancel was informed that I would recieved $0 dollars in refund. When I tried to communicate with you, I got no response.

5.00A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. Everything was smooth, well organized, and enjoyable from start to finish. Even my 88-year-old dad had no difficulty at all. The views were breathtaking, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
