Come and ascend into a pristine wilderness aboard the world's largest rotating tramcars! Truly one of the greatest experiences in Southern California!

Please present voucher to the ticket office. Tickets will be timed for the next available tram car as a first come first serve basis.
The Tramway is subject to delays and periodic shutdowns due to unforeseen circumstances and is not responsible for ticket refunds or the inability to redeem a voucher
Tramway cars hold 80 people each and there are no seats. Passengers remain standing throughout the journey up the mountain
Distance is approximately 12,800 feet, with a vertical ascent of 5,873 feet - 15 minutes travel time one way
The tramway is known as a double reversible type of aerial tramway. Each car remains on one pair of track cables moving up and down without turning around. Each car serves as a counter balance to the other, the descending car is helping pull the ascending car up the mountain
Strollers are permitted on this tour
During holiday periods, you may experience long lines. We recommend you travel outside of these peak times to fully enjoy everything the tramway and mountain have to offer.

Very long wait times. Spent two hours waiting in line to redeem our voucher for tickets then another two hours before departing on the tram. While the tram ride and time at the summit was good is basically consumed the whole day.

It was fun but a little scary! Definitely worth it to see the views! Food availability at the bottom and top were great Bathrooms were clean! Wait time was tolerable due to nice seating available

If you have a fear of heights, step to the middle of the tram. A nice restaurant awaits at the top along with nice trails for a hike.

A good value for a unique opportunity. We had to wait almost 2 hours for a tram- due to high volume on a Sunday. The short hike was beautiful and worth waiting for. A person does need to be in decent condition to be able to get around on uneven surfaces.

Even though I purchased tickets the day before, once I arrived there I was given an entry time of two hours later. Since I had dinner reservations at that time I couldn't use my tickets. Total waste of money. Don't bother buying tickets unless you don't mind sitting on the floor waiting for 2 or 3 hours.

That while the title on the paperwork says "Ticket", reading further down it says "Voucher", so you didn't buy a ticket. So what's the point? Also, I thought I had purchased 4 tickets (which turned out to be 4 vouchers) The paperwork stated "William + 3 adults" (i.e., Myself + 3 other adults") but the man at the ticket both said no, there was only 3 tickets purchased. What reasonable person would think William + 3 adults (note the " +") would mean only 3!

They way oversell then number of tickets multiple hours waiting for a 10 minute ride on the tram if you have to go, try and pick a mid-week non-holiday its almost impossible to get on the tram otherwise

Go early or late in the day, we spent almost 4 hours before our tram ride and it was crazy. The food and drink prices were astronomical ($4 for a 16oz bottle of water). Also, we did not know we were booking thru a third party so we could not get our money back. Plus you have to pay $15 to park. All in all it was not a good experience!

Get there early! Amazingly simple to get the ticket :) Gets very crowded on weekends and tickets sell out for time slots fast.

I purchased tickets on line but did not receive an entry for the tram. I had to wait 1.5 hours in line and then wait another 1.5 hrs to get on the tram for the time that was finally allotted. Never again thru trip Advisor. By the way this is for Palm Springs aerial tram.
