Papallacta Hot Springs, a paradise where you will live a relaxing and unique experience.
The Papallacta hot springs have medicinal and healing properties that are good for muscles, joints, skin and hair due to the minerals they contain, such as: sulfur salts, iron, magnesium, etc.
The heat of these waters comes from an active volcano called Chacana. Likewise, you can enter the cloud forest walking along a path near a river where you will find waterfalls, unique vegetation and wonderful landscapes, you will take beautiful memories and excellent photographs.

What To Expect
We will leave Quito heading to Papallacta, a place located between the Sierra and the Amazon, on a journey of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. We will walk along a path in the Cayambe-Coca National Park, here we will find a long river with beautiful waterfalls and incredible landscapes with unique vegetation. Later, we will visit the Papallacta Hot Springs; which are thermal pools that will provide you with health and well-being due to their medicinal and relaxing properties.

5.00Plan 2hours try all the pools. Springs before hike worked great. Restaurants outside park on strip are good andl large portions

5.00The hot springs were just what was needed for a perfect relaxation time. I was prepared as Alejandro suggested but I made one major mistake - I didn’t bring sunscreen brocade the day was cloudy. Next time I will bring it regardless. I only did part of the hike but it was certainly beautiful and refreshing.
