• Scooter Died Early, Customer Service Died Faster

  If you’re a tourist, be careful dealing with this company as the service was unreliable, unprofessional, disappointing, and full of excuses. I booked a one-person electric scooter for 4 hours at €45 via WhatsApp the day before. Communication initially seemed smooth, although driver delivered 20 minutes late citing roadworks as excuse. Before paying cash, I repeatedly confirmed the scooter battery would comfortably last 4 hours and was assured it could even last a full day. I was touring Paphos with friends on electric bikes when the scooter battery started dying after about 2.5 hours even though I went through the bicycle lane on my way to town. On my way back throughthe coastal path, it completely stopped working before the 3-hour mark, leaving me pushing the scooter back under the hot sun. It was embarrassing to say the least. I contacted the company immediately and shared my location as requested, but no help arrived. Over an hour later, after I had nearly reached the hotel, the delivery guy called claiming he had been “tracking my live location” and said I should have waited in the same spot for a replacement scooter. As a tourist travelling with a group, there was no realistic way I could stand in the heat for over an hour with poor communication and no clear support. When I requested a partial refund for the lost hour, the attitude changed completely. I was accused of possibly lying about the scooter failing, despite me having video evidence of pushing the dead scooter along the Paphos coastal road. They then kept delaying and avoiding the refund. I was told to visit their office, then told the boss needed to approve it, then promised someone would come to the hotel with €5 or €10 refund. Nobody ever came. What made things worse was discovering they used the personal hotel information I provided during booking to ask reception about my departure time, just to ensure they avoid paying the refund entirely. On leaving the hotel the following day, I noticed they had picked up the electric scooter from where I pavked it without contacting me to collect the helmet and scooter key. The issue is not even the small refund amount, but it’s the dishonesty, poor service, lack of accountability, and misuse of customer information. Based on my experience, I definitely would not trust their claims about “full-day” electric scooter rentals.

  I must recommend KDB scooters for everyone that plans to have an exciting and happy and memorable encounter in there holiday to go for the scooters,it's an amazing experience,there services are excellent and genuine,they have all it takes to put an unforgettable happiness and smile on your face, especially the way they handle there costumes it's unimaginable and pleasant,most of all there workers are highly trained for the job,

  

• Fun, but keep an eye on the battery

  Really fun, and enjoyed the coastal path on this scooter for the day. When we arrived to hire the scooter, they had no record of our booking, it took over half an hour of phone calls to find us, which was frustrating. The young man who was working there was very patient and friendly, not his fault, and eventually we were on our way. We followed the coastal path north, but after 90 muns (we had booked for a full day) the battery symbol was flashing, and the scooter was cutting out at the slightest incline. We turned around to go back to the hire shop, my partner had to walk, and pushed up any hills, this was horrendous in the blistering sun. We did make it back to the hire shop, and were instantly given a scooter with a full battery. We did enjoy the scooter, and would hire again, but just be wary of the battery level if travelling far, and using all day. The day ended on a good note, and we would recommend it, but just be aware of the battery issue on some of the scooters. The second one was definitely more charged than the first.

  Great experience, highly recommend using these to access the newly extended coastal walkway route that runs along the coastline, from the harbour. The cost has increased over the years, but still a lovely activity to do.

  Wow, what an experience. I and 3 of my children had a family moped for 1 hour and it was great. Willy, the shop owner had helped us and was very friendly, informative of how to use the scooter and he was very professional at his job. Thank you very much Willy.

• A different experience for the kids

  As a family of 5 we hired two. A new experience for the children, an adventure to the harbour for dinner rather than booking a cab. Nice way to see a bit more of the coastline.

  My wife and I hired a couples scooter for 2-30 hours from our hotel, 1-15 into our rental the battery run out, we phoned the contact number and said our location...eventually the very angry owner of the company turned up, I cannot tell you how aggressive this man was towards me and my wife because he hadn’t understood where we were stranded, we abandoned the scooter and found safety in a local hotel and got a taxi back to our hotel at an additional cost to us, not any any time was he concerned that we were left out in the heat because the vehicle he supplied didn’t have a good enough battery. I do not recommend this company.
