What To Expect
Waterfront Highway
Pass by waterfront an see spectacular views of the cruise port and ferry docks. We will also visit Mainstreet where you can do some duty free shopping. Driving time.
Main Street
Main Street or Dronningens Gade (Danish name meaning Queen’s Street) is the main street running through Charlotte Amalie. The buildings on the south side of Main Street are long, separated by narrow alleys. These were warehouses for storing goods during the heyday of trade. On the north side are a collection of 18th and 19th century classic West Indian buildings and former town houses. The buildings are square in shape and many are two stories with balconies. In the past the first floor housed shops; the second floor would have been the shop keeper’s residence. Today many of these old buildings are repurposed as duty free shops. You will have some time to roam Main Street and visit the shops and resturants in the area.

5.00We booked a 4 hour Private tour and really enjoyed it! Sam was our driver, he was friendly and knowledgeable! We came into St Thomas on a cruise and didn't want to ride in the open air taxis with young children. This is a much better option, considering safety and ease of travel. We just wanted to see a few different beaches. He took us exactly where we wanted to go and was there to drive us to another destination when we were ready. We got to see 2 different beaches and the view from Devils seat (is that the correct name??). It obviously cost more than a shore excursion, but we got more! We could bring extra bags with snacks and clothes and leave them in the car to avoid getting everything sandy. Sam drove us in the nicest Cadillac Escalade with ice cold air conditioning! I highly recommend using Paradise Taxi and Tours for a cruise shore excursion!

5.00Amazing amazing amazing experience with this 6 hour tour. Driver was great and his personality was 🔥 in the best possible way. We had the ability to do what we wanted and visit different beaches and place on island. The vehicle was a Mercedes Benz and very Lux! We recommend Paradise Taxi 🚕 and Tours all day everyday.

5.00Family for 11 here that had a Great time in this tour. Six hour tour was not enough we had a great time at the different spots and coki beach was beautiful. Our tour guide was so accommodating and happy all the time. This was worth it and the kids had so much fun.

4.00Didn’t receive info on driver. We found another driver for the same company, when we got off the ship, and asked about our driver. We found out he did text info to us on where to be for picked up but he texted it to the wrong number. I also had a specific itinerary sent prior to arriving. He seemed to have no knowledge of this and kind of went on an alternate itinerary. All worked out fine in the end, however.

1.00Our tour guide, Sam, was 30 minutes late picking us up at the cruise port. No one called or text to inform us of the delay. He was also 20 minutes late picking us up from downtown. When he did some of the things we left in the van were missing. He obviously had picked other people up during our reserved time. We could not hear any of his narrative because the AC was so noisy. He needed one of those microphones that tour guides often have. Sam was often on his phone conducting business during our excursion. Don’t waste your money on this excursion. It was one of the worst I have ever been on.

5.00We just got back from a week stay on the island. There were 7 adults in our group. We used paradise taxi and tours during our entire stay. Pick up and return to the airport , private 6 hr island tour , to and from ferry dock to St John , grocery shopping , ferry to and from water island. Khalid was amazing . He knows the island and took us to amazing areas for pictures and also to the beaches. Punctual and fees were very reasonable. His van was spotless and no dirty windows. We will miss him and will certainly use this company again when we return to the island.

Our excursion was much more than we expected for the minimal cost. Thank you for veering off the scheduled tour route and allowing us to enjoy the Skyride excursion. We highly recommend his services.

5.00Just finished our amazing tour!! We had a fantastic time and absolutely loved our time touring this beautiful island. Our driver was very knowledgeable about his home and shared many interesting facts which was exactly what we were wanting from our tour. And he went back to a previous stop so one of our party could get a bracelet she didn’t get the first time which we really appreciated! Can’t recommend more and we will definitely be looking up Paradise Tours on future trips!!

5.00This excursion was a rush booking on my end. I only booked it yesterday and my fear was there is no time for giving out information. But I was totally wrong, Khalid called me few minutes after I booked it . Gave me all the information I need to know , like the pick up place and time . He also explained that our cellphone will work in St. Thomas since it’s a US territory. He knew from the very beginning where to pick us up based on our cruise . When we are at the port , I called him and within 2 minutes our driver / tour guide Miek ( pronounced as Mike) called me already . Miek was very friendly young man that explained to us our itinerary, and asked us want do we want to do . We passed by all of the itineraries and saw the Stunning Magan’s Beach. Although we chose not to enter because my 2 teenagers chose to do jet-ski. Miek was very patient in looking for a place where my kids can do jet-ski & was definitely able to find 1. We definitely had a wonderful time ! We enjoyed the island and was able to explore the island is few hours with the help of Miek. I will absolutely recommend this transportation and tour . They are very reliable and the price is acceptable.
