Unfortunately, the museum was expensive compared to the experience. Several of the paradoxes are things you can easily find online, although some installations were nice and spatially interesting. It was also difficult to get in with the baby cart: heavy door and stairs, but plenty of space for the cart inside. The most unpleasant thing, however, was an episode in the store. My daughter opened a toy, and while I was trying to put it back in place, I got a complaining message in English that you should not open items before you buy them. I speak Norwegian, and perceived the situation as unnecessarily sharp and unrespectful. When I mentioned this at the reception on my way out, it was met with a rather superficial regret, without questioning what had actually happened. I hope the management takes this seriously. A museum in Oslo should be accessible to families with young children and have staff that meets all visitors with respect, tranquility and professionalism.

What a neat experience in Oslo. This is a hidden gem of a museum. Fun for the entire family. It is usually open until 7pm. Anastasia took care of us while we were at the museum. She helped us with photos. Great customer service.
