The city tour was good -- the guide gave us a nice overview, drove us around, and taught us history of the city. The tour itself is not the most exciting thing as it's mostly seeing the colonial style architecture and hearing history, and can drag on. But the guide himself is very friendly and fun to listen to. There are a few good photo opportunities.

This highly recommended tour of Paramaribo has illustrated Suriname’s eventful colonial past (formerly Dutch Guiana) and also introduced us to the country’s fascinating, colorful culture. The multifaceted beauty of Suriname and the great hospitality of its inhabitants must be experienced!

An excellent tour by an excellent tour company. The office staff were super friendly, helpful, and reliable - 5 stars for them! The city tour by Chafiht was great as well. Instead of just reciting dates, he provided great context about WHY things happened and why they are as they are today. I learned a lot about the history of the interesting city of Parbo.

The guide was excellent and so helpful we tought that we lost our souvenirs and he brought us back to look for them. Finally we found them. His explanation about the countries/Cities history was very good. He was patient and gave info about restaurants and markets. Very very good. Unfortunately we dont have his name. But they can trace him. Thank you. Carla/James/Aly Aruba.

Orange Travel is a well-organized company with good tour guides. I did 3 day tours with them and all of them went smoothly. The Joden Savanne tour with Tony was awesome and Tony did a great job of explaining everything. I did the Paramaribo City Tour with Elton, who was very personable and fun. On my last day I did the Brownsberg tour with Gio. The hike to the waterfall was long, but certainly worth it. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and would recommend the company to anybody looking for day tours while in Suriname.

We went from Suriname to French Guiana with our guide Jurgen and had 3 fantastic days there. From Cayenne to Devils Island to the Launch Base, Jurgen told us everything about everything. Orange Travel and Jurgen are highly recommended when you are in Suriname or French Guyana.

We had a group of three. Our driver was extremely informative! We learned about the surroundings of the fort, local religious communities and visited a market. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars because there just isn't that much to see in Paramaribo. The UNESCO worl heritage buildings were mainly seen from the car windows but you can see them also easily by foot. During this tour, however, you will learn to understand the basics of Suriname, it's history and versatility.

Wonderful mix of history, architecture, and lots of wood! Tour guide was very friendly and kept it highly interactive. Mix of bus tour and a small portion of on-site walking. Appreciated little hints on the side, such as pointing out good restaurants along the tour.
