Musee de l’Orangerie
You will discover one of Paris’s most intimate and rewarding museums, located at the edge of the Tuileries Garden. The Orangerie is world-famous for housing Claude Monet’s Water Lilies, displayed in two light-filled oval rooms designed according to the artist’s wishes to create a feeling of calm and immersion. Visitors can sit, walk, and take their time absorbing these monumental paintings, experiencing Monet’s vision of nature, light, and reflection in a uniquely peaceful setting. Beyond the Water Lilies, travelers explore an exceptional collection of late 19th- and early 20th-century art, featuring masterpieces by Renoir, Cézanne, Matisse, Picasso, Modigliani, Rousseau, and Derain, offering a perfect overview of Impressionism and early Modern Art. After the visit, guests can enjoy a stroll through the nearby Tuileries Garden or continue toward Place de la Concorde and the Louvre, making the Orangerie an ideal cultural stop in the heart of Paris.

Claude Monet’s Water Lilies murals are a truly meditative experience. I could sit there for a long time moving from panel to panel. A reflection of the true beauty and stillness of nature. Definitely reserve a time slot. A very busy museum.

Definitely buy on line entrance tickets in advance as the queues grow very long outside. Really lovely to see the works of Monet and other key french artisits in a modest sized gallery. Well laid out exhibitions with plenty of info.

Must see in Paris if you love art museums. So intimate and the Monet installation is awesome. Definitely buy tix in advance, skip the line is a must otherwise you will literally wait for hours

Very good because it allows to have a reservation if the official website of the museum is complete. On the other hand, the price is higher. Care should be taken to book a specific time of visit. If you take a ticket without specifying the time, you must go in the same line as people who do not have a ticket. This museum is very crowded, so favor visits before 10 a.m. Tickets are sent by email 24 hours before the start of the tour. Personally I received them even a little before.

Nice experience Exposure to redhorse on the other hand, a lift accessible to the non-disabled who still have difficulty in walking

We were looking for a way to book tickets last-minute. This experience was affordable and allowed us to avoid the long line! The museum was amazing, especially the Waterlilies rooms, of course.

The experience of the large Monet painting was exquisite...go very early so you don't have a big crowd when you see the two rooms...

I would give this a zero but there’s not that choice. We never got the tickets in time because they entered my email wrong. I made other reservations and the day before finally got a reminder via text. I asked to move the tickets as it was their error and as I now had a conflict of times and never heard back from anyone.

Very unclear and complicated to download the voucher. Simply opening a link was not possible. An error message kept coming up.

This is a review of the TripAdvisor ticket purchasing system not the museum: One of the worst ticket purchasing systems I’ve ever used. The email announcing my ticket arrival DID NOT LEAD TO OBTAINING MY TICKETS. When clicking on the GET YOUR TICKET tab you are put into a loop that yields a ticket VOUCHER,NOT A TICKET. This led to an embarrassing and frustrating situation at the museum entrance. Thankfully some patient museum staff were able to disentangle the situation and validate our entry. I would be very hesitant to use this system again.
