It's a giant Basilica that has been under construction since 1882 and it's not expected to be completed for some time yet. The Park Güell originated in 1900, when Count Eusebi Güell bought a tree-covered hillside (then outside Barcelona) and hired Gaudí to create a miniature city of houses for the wealthy in landscaped grounds. .

Wasted opportunity! No tour!

1.00Booked a month in advance. Received confirmation email. Showed up at meeting point and waited an hour. No guide and company just said “sorry”. Waste of time and missed opportunity to tour these sites. Waste of $900.

2.00We did not get an opportunity to tour upstairs at Sagrada Familia. The tour guide told us we did not have to buy tickets, which was false. We were not given the opportunity to get tickets. After we found out, the guide had disappeared and was no longer available to ask questions. We were told it was a 3 hour tour, ours only lasted 1 and half hours. I do not recommend this tour.
