2.00Interesting, but a good tour guide is a must to help you understand the history and details. Our guide, Alex Ferraro, provided some details but also left our group standing in one area for thirty minutes! He told us it was our time to “take selfies”. Not sure if he needed a restroom break or coffee, but it was WAY too long for a one hour tour. When he did return to the group, part of our group didn’t realize he had returned and then moved to another area out of sight. When we couldn’t hear him talking through our headphones, we started walking around until his voice came on again. Several of us had given up and were ready to go off on our own. It would have been better for him to take a group count and make sure people knew he was ready to start the tour again after his long break. We would recommend Park Guell - but NOT Alex Farrero.

1.00Our excursion was cancelled. I booked it a month prior to the trip and paid in full for it. Two days prior to arrival I received an email stating that the excursion had been overbooked and requested that I call for my refund. A friend that was traveling with us had the same problem.
