If you selected the self-guided option: your friendly host will greet you, provide your entry ticket, and give you a brief introduction with key facts and tips before you enter the park to explore at your own pace.
Park Guell
The Park Güell is a public park composed of gardens and architectonic elements located on Carmel Hill, in Barcelona. Eusebi Güell assigned the design of the park to Antoni Gaudí, a renowned architect and the face of Catalan modernism. Here, the guide will explain you everything about the history of the park, as well as of its important architecture and curious facts.

Ticket mismanagement led to loss of our reserved spots

1.00On the day of the tour, we arrived at the entrance as scheduled and checked in with the guide. However, the guide failed to properly verify our tickets and allowed another group to enter using our reserved spots. As a result, when it was our turn to enter, we were informed that our tickets had already been used and we were denied entry. This situation occurred entirely due to the provider’s mismanagement and lack of proper verification at the entrance. The guide made several phone calls to the company and tried to resolve the issue. After some time, they were only able to secure two replacement tickets, which meant that the rest of our group, including myself and my companion, were still unable to enter. This was not an acceptable solution, as we booked and paid for the experience. The guide didn't check well in the moment of the entrance.

5.00Today we visited Park Guell with David and the experience was excellent. From the first moment, his knowledge and passion for his work and history were noticed. He explained everything very clearly, making every detail of the place meaningful and valuable to each of us. What stood out most was his way of telling the story: not only did he provide information, but he managed to connect the dots and make everything interesting, even for those who do not know much about the subject. He was very attentive to the whole group, answered questions patiently and was always willing to dig deeper when someone wanted to know more. In addition, it handled the tour times very well, allowing us to enjoy the place without feeling rushed. You can tell he has experience and he really likes what he does. We definitely recommend visiting with David. It makes a big difference and turns the ride into a much more enriching experience.
