What To Expect

We will be trying older vintages of our Syrah dominate Aria line. We will be tasting 2018, 2019 and 2020 vintages throughout your flight. The 2018 and 2020 are 100% Syrah, while the 2019 is 92% Syrah 8% Sangiovese.

Medium ruby-purple in color, tar and graphite notes dissipate to classic aromas of cracked pepper, aniseed and blackcurrants.

2019 Aria

Deep ruby-purple, it opens with streaks of flint that give way to a savory core of red cherry, fernet, and desiccated flowers calling you back.

2020 Aria

Wild herbs, scorched earth, olives, wet stones and black currants form a dark and complex bouquet in the glass.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience this past weekend. Matt did an amazing job at guiding us through the wine tasting, educating us on every aspect of the process and answering all our questions. Definitely recommend!

Matthew was a great host to us and answered so many questions that we had as it was our first wine tasting. It was a very intimate setting and the information and tour we received was a great end to our trip. Excited to have another taste of the bottle at home!

A little hidden gem of tin city that doesn’t disappoint. Small boutique winery with some of the best wines in the area made by a 4th generation Frenchman winemaker. Matt sure does a great job with his knowledge and hospitality. Highly recommend visiting tin city and trying these amazing wines!

WOW! What an amazing experience we had visiting the Al Lago winery! We had the Syrah Vertical tasting and my friends and I are still talking about it. The tasting room and patio are beautiful and the general manager, Matthew, provided the best service! He was knowledgeable, professional, informative and very fun to talk to. My friends and I are in Love with Al Lago and their wines. Of course we brought some home with us and will definitely be going back on our next visit.

Al Lago is one of our favorite places to visit! Beautiful grounds, delicious wine, and amazing staff. If you can, ask for Matthew! He is excellent- so knowledgeable and always makes our experience memorable. Highly recommend!!
