I have only ever tried to make choux pastry by myself once and failed miserably 😅 So this class was not only necessary, but has saved me fore future attempts! Alexandra, the instructor, went through the top reasons why the choux fails and how to ensure a successful pastry every time. We learned how to make stuffed chouquettes and éclairs 💕 during the class, you won't even see the time pass by! Looking forward to trying the techniques at home.

My partner and I did this 3-hour class, and it was honestly such a blast. I was really curious to see if I could actually pull this off since I’d never done this before, but I was genuinely shocked by how good our éclairs turned out. They actually looked and tasted professional! The session was held inside a real French boulangerie, which gave it such an authentic feel. Very kind and informative trainer! The time flew by because it was so hands-on, and the vibe was just really relaxed and fun. If you want a break from the usual sightseeing, this is definitely a great way to spend an afternoon!

The experience was fun and engaging! I was able to learn about french cuisine through a more hands on approach by baking chocolate eclairs and cream puffs. It was simple for a beginner to follow and can recreate at home. Definitely would recommend to both tourists and locals who are interested at baking. It’s also a plus that the operator speaks English!

Wonderful experience! The highlight for me was learning how to pipe the choux, something I’d never done before and probably wouldn’t attempt at home without guidance. The setting was perfect: a professional pastry lab right in the heart of Bordeaux. Alexandra, our instructor, was fantastic, clear, patient, and easy to follow. I was surprised by how much I could achieve in just one session. Now, I actually feel confident enough to try making these at home for family and friends!

Alexandra makes Choux Pastry seem almost easy once you know the secrets. Her demonstrations helped immensely, taking the guesswork out of what it should look and feel like at each step. The Choux Pastry was cooked, and the fillings and glaze came together with ease. On our way back to our apartment, we shared them with friends, and the pastries were delicious. I think my teenage kids would really enjoy it as well.
