Had the pleasure of having Momiji as our tour guide today. I’ve been on a lot of tours, but I genuinely think Momiji is the best tour guide I’ve ever had…..outgoing, energetic and very knowledgeable. Really enjoyed the tour today with her. Going to the Atom Bomb Dome, Peace Park and Museum was very interesting yet very sombre. I feel we had the right amount of time for each. Then we headed to Miyajima Island. I enjoyed the lunch, and there was plenty of other food available to try. The maple pancakes and lemon soda are a must. Got some great photos of the Itsukushima Shrine Torii gate, shrines and deers on the island. On the way back to Hiroshima Station after the tour Momiji made sure to ask everyone if they needed recommendations for places to eat, or things to do in the city (even in other cities) Really enjoyable tour that for me was at the right pace, right time in each place. This company seems to have listened to their customers wants very well. Well done Momiji, you did a great job.

We had a great time with Momiji. She's a great guide, and you're lucky if you have her for your visit in Hiroshima. Our family all agrees that Hiroshima was our favorite city during our trip to Japan, and I think Momiji made this possible. She was great at explaining everything about Japanese culture and providing a brief history of every place we visited. The visit to almost-ground zero, the memorials, and the museum to remember those who were lost after the catastrophic nuclear bomb on August 6, 1945, during WWII, really impacted us. It's impressive how resilient the people in Hiroshima are and how they were able to rebuild after such an event. We went for lunch to try Hiroshima okonomiyaki, but to be honest, I liked Osaka okonomiyaki better. Afterward, we went to Miyajima Island by ferry and visited the gates of Miyajima Shrine and the temple. This was a very good tour, and I highly recommend Momiji to guide you and show you the city.

Great tour. Our guide was knowledgable in conveying the history of Hiroshima, particularly in pointing out how close we were to the explosion as a point of information. Though depressing at some points, it is a must see for historical perspective. Our stop on the island was great - even with the rain. Lunch was very good, but be prepared to use chopsticks only which was not a problem for us ( we had practice visiting family at Camp Humphreys). Our tour guide was very upbeat and outgoing.
