We had a fantastic tour and would highly recommend this tour. The mix of Hiroshima and Miyajima covered all of the highlights, with enough free time to explore. Our guide Mo was informative, fun and made the experience extra special. Would love to do another tour with her!

We had the most incredible time on our Hiroshima and Miyajima UNESCO Sites 1-Day Tour today! A massive thank you to our guide, Rino, who was truly exceptional—so knowledgeable, friendly, and super engaged with the whole group from start to finish. The morning was a deeply sombre but informative experience as we explored the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. Learning about the city’s journey from tragedy to hope was incredibly powerful and moving. Rino’s expert insights helped us navigate these sensitive spaces with the respect they deserve. In the afternoon, the mood lightened as we experienced the unique Miyajima Island. Seeing the iconic "floating" Torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine and experiencing the serenity of the Buddhist Temple were my highlights. We also had the best time finally trying the legendary Hiroshima okonomiyaki! Watching it being prepared in those delicious layers with noodles and the tangy, umami sauce was as entertaining as it was tasty. This tour is a must-do, as it perfectly balances the weight of history with the vibrant life and culinary joys of today. If you are looking for an encouraging and positive connection to Japan, you won’t find a better way to spend your day! Rino-san, dōmo arigatōgozaimashita
