Bob and I had a wonderful day with Daniel. He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and focused on what we were interested in seeing and doing. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire day. Daniel went out of his way to take us to try to find a platypus. We got lucky, we saw two of them. My husband is a birder and Daniel tuned into finding birds for him to see. I can't express how great this tour is. It was one of the best things we did on our entire trip to Australia. I highly recommend taking this tour while staying in Hobart.

Outstanding service provided by Daniel, who was always prepared to go the extra mile (or should that be kilometre?) to ensure we got the most from the trip. With snow at the top of Mt Field we certainly encountered some low temperatures for December, but Daniel ensured we were kept well fed, watered and warm, and his knowledge of the flora and fauna helped make for an excellent day.

My wife and I loved our full day private tour with our guide Sonia. She picked us up promptly at our hotel and was a font of knowledge all day long. She was well versed on the history of Hobart and Tasmania, flora and fauna, and gave us great recommendations on restaurants and other activities for the rest of our stay. Sonia was fun, kind, and an excellent driver. She had gluten free snacks for us and was always ready to take pictures of us. Though the weather was changeable she had umbrellas at the ready and completed tailored the day to our needs and preferences. From Bonorang animal sanctuary to Russell Falls to Battery Point - A great day!

My wife and I had a fantastic day with Noella exploring the areas around Hobart. We loved the wildlife sanctuary where there were animal experiences including petting and feeding kangaroos. We had a lovely riverside lunch, then entered the ancient forests inside Mt Field National Park for a beautiful hike. In addition to the incredible views, we had such a pleasant time talking with Noella on the tour, trading stories and musing about life and travel. Highly highly recommend!

Our guide,Angus, was one of the most informative in our 3 weeks of traveling. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of Australia, and specifically of the history and highlights of Tasmania. The drive was gorgeous and he made sure to return a different way so we could see more of this magical land. Our picnic lunch was a particular delight, with many kinds of Tazzy cheeses, fruit and beverages. Wonderful experience, thanks Angus!

Great trip with Daniel Boddy. We visited a fantastic animal sanctuary where we saw a great number of Tasmanian species including the Tasmanian Devil, Kangaroos and several Wombats as well as a number of birds. We then visited Mt Field which was a wonderful hike through a primordial forest. Our guide was very personable, knowledgeable and very friendly. A great trip.

We’ve been visiting the country for a while now and have only taken small group tours. Although those were fine, they didn’t have room for lingering in spots that we wanted to spend more time in and we had to move at a pace of the group. This private tour was perfect. Bailey is a local with lots of tips and knowledge about Tasmania. We had a wonderful time in each location we visited and the travel time was full of interesting conversations and local happenings. The lunch spot we went to had delicious food and met some specific dietary needs. Bailey took great photos and shared them with us and even gave us a dinner restaurant recommendation that was super. I highly recommend this company if you’re looking for a fun, well paced and personalized experience.

Penny Dyer was our guide on both the Peaks, Falls & Furry Locals tour as well as the Wine and the Wild tour. Both tour itineraries were set up well and Penny did an outstanding job guiding and explaining everything. We had the absolute best time and were SO happy that Penny was able to enhance our experience on both days!
