Nila was great. Told some history driving through Halifax and quite when needed. Told us history of each place and guide to where to each place and so we had our own time to wonder about.

We had Robert, who was a delight. He was informative with just the right amount of humour mixed in. All in all a great day.

Robert was an amazing guide, he was a treasure trove of stories and fun facts about Nova Scotia which made the tour fun and memorable! We got hit with bad weather on our trip, but Robert made adjustments to account for the rain. I do feel like time was a bit tight in Lunenburg, we only had an hour to explore on our own. Everything else was great - the group size was perfect, the van was comfortable, the pick up/ drop off was smooth. Highly recommended!

Dress for the weather and expect that it will be colder at Peggy’s Cove because of the wind coming off the ocean.

What a perfect day trip with Robert today! We had such a great time driving over to Lunenburg first, learning all sorts of important facts along the drive, then having a nice 2.5 hrs on our own to explore this lovely quaint town. We then drove to Peggys Cove and really enjoyed the scenery along the route. Thankfully we had fewer visitors at the Cove ( being mid May) so got really great photos! Robert really made this day trip top notch for us and we're so happy!! Thanks so much for everything and tips as well.

I highly recommended Anchor Tours! Jeff was very quick to respond and available for any questions we had. They offer door-to-door service with pickup and drop off right outside our BNB. The ride was very comfortable and our vehicle was spotlessly clean, air conditioned and spacious. Our tour guide, Ron, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed his stories and learnt a lot about Halifax history. Peggy’s Cove was every bit as beautiful as it looks in photos and Lunenburg was an absolute highlight with its historic charm. Thanks Anchor Tours!

I had an excellent experience with Anchor Tours! Our tour guide Ron was very kind and knowledgeable. As a long-term local he knew all the ins and outs of the area, and had lots of interesting facts and insights that you wouldn’t find on Google. I found it to be excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see and learn about Lunenburg, Peggy’s Cove, and Halifax history!
