Peggy's Cove
The tour starts in downtown Halifax with a 45mins (approximate) drive to peggys cove. Home to one of the most famous light houses in the world and Nova Scotia's most iconic landmarks. On our Peggy’s Cove experience, travelers will embark on a scenic coastal drive, taking in stunning ocean views and picturesque villages. Upon arrival, you’ll explore the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse, perched on dramatic granite rocks with waves crashing below. Visitors can walk the rugged shoreline, visit local shops and galleries, and immerse themselves in the area’s rich fishing culture.
Swissair Flight 111 Memorial
Whalesback Memorial located approximately 1 km north of Peggy’s Cove, the Whalesback Memorial features two granite stones. One stone bears three carved notches representing the flight number "111," and its orientation points toward the crash site. The second stone aligns with the Bayswater Memorial across the bay. A short walking trail (160 meters) leads visitors to this solemn site, providing a space for reflection amidst the natural coastal landscape

Knowledgeable guide. Sound system on the bus made it difficult to hear from the back. Good value

We had a wonderful time on the Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, and Titanic Cemetery tour. Our guide and driver, Arjun, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the trip. He shared interesting stories and local history that made every stop more enjoyable. He was also very helpful, patient, and ensured everyone was comfortable. We truly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend this tour, especially with Arjun as your guide!

Agnes was a wonderful tour guide. Even though she was experiencing an asthma flare-up, she still came to work with a positive attitude and made sure everyone had a great experience. She was friendly, informative, and shared interesting stories and history throughout the trip. I especially appreciated that she shared information before we arrived at each stop, then gave us time to explore on our own. We visited Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg, and the Fairview Lawn Cemetery, where many victims of the Titanic disaster are buried. What stood out most was her kindness. She invited me to sit in the front so I could enjoy the scenery better, made sure I had enough time for restroom breaks, and even kept water at the front for me. Those small gestures made the day even more comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, it was a very good trip. I’m giving it 4 stars because I believe we need at least 3 hours in Lunenburg to truly experience the town. More time would allow visitors to wander each charming street, enjoy a local restaurant, and browse the unique gift shops without feeling rushed. Other than that, it was a memorable and enjoyable day. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Agnes, our tour guide, was an absolute delight on a recent tour of Peggy’s Cove, Lunenberg, and the Titanic cemetery. I learned so much. I was with a small group of eight and the other tourists were absolutely lovely. And the door-to-door hotel pick up and drop off was a big plus. I would highly recommend Alpha Tours.

The tour is very worth the price, and we learned a lot and learned a lot. It was difficult to understand the tour guide. But fortunately it was a nice day and we were able to see a lot.
