Penang might be one of South East Asia’s lesser visiting spots, but the culinary scene more than measures up to its neighbors. Four hours of feasting on our curated daily food experience awaits. 5.00We loved our tour with Ken. Places we would not have known about and food we would not have known to order. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed meeting other travellers too. We came hungry and left absolutely groaning- pace yourselves!

5.00We had a great time on the food tour, Shen was a great guide who was of local knowledge being born in Penang. He was extremely passionate about food and we tried some amazing things. We went back the next day to try some of our favourite bites again.

5.00The food tour with Sandi was absolutely amazing! The variety of food we tried was amazing, and to pack it all in to 4 hours was incredible. The pacing was perfect, come hungry and by the end you’ll be very full but there’s not an overwhelming amount of food - it’s just right. Excellent value for money. We felt so much more confident exploring the street food options after - knowing how and what to order.

5.00A fabulous evening out with Sandy and a great group of people. Walking the streets, we sampled many different foods from the different cuisines of this vibrant city made up of many cultures. Rightly the Chefs Tour is highly rated. Sandy’s enthusiasm for all that the city has to offer, especially the food is infectious. We did the tour in KL and this one was just as good!

5.00My partner and I had an amazing time. Our tour guide (Sandy) was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, we had a great group of folks in the tour, and the dishes were all delicious. I feel more knowledgeable about the varieties of cuisines and got to experience new spins on some childhood dishes as well. 4 hours just flew by!

What stood out most was how she went beyond just introducing delicious food. Sandy shared the rich history and cultural background of Penang in a way that made each stop even more meaningful. It felt like we weren’t just tasting the city—we were understanding it. It was also my wife’s birthday, and Sandy went the extra mile to arrange a surprise cake for her, which made the experience even more special and memorable.
