One word : Wow! Definitely worth it and would do it again and again. We tasted almost 25 dishes and snacks, from restaurants to the best street food in Penang. Literally everything was delicious, all the flavors, textures, pairings, this is the best food experience I've had. Our guide Sandy was amazing, providing a lot of details about the origins and the making of every single dish we had, and briefing us on the history of George Town and how it affects its food. From Malay cuisine, to Chinese, to Indian, to Indian-Muslim, you get to taste every little part of George Town's gastronomic scene. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

A really good tour of George town where the tour guide (Rachel) did a great job of sharing not just her knowledge of the food but the place itself.

Grace was very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient at ordering food in advance and manoeuvring our group of seven people through busy restaurants and streets. A great way to learn about the city as well as its cuisine. Four hours flew by and the food was delicious. Good pace, with a few air-conditioned restaurant stops between pounding the pavements. Only wish we’d done it earlier in the trip

Our guide Sandy was excellent! Really knowledgeable and funny. She told us arrive hungry and that is no joke. It starts at 4:30 and we had lunch at 12 before going and felt like we were going to explode afterwards. There is so much value for money here and all the food is so so good. 11/10

Come hungry and excited to have a rich culinary and cultural experience. Our guide Ken was knowledgeable, responsive to questions and shared a rich overview of the history and culture of Penang’s food. A small group added to evening with shared stories and opinions. Tour provided confidence for making future independent choices when eating in Penang. Strong, memorable experience. Thanks, Ken!

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon/evening food tour with Sandy as our guide. Sandy did an excellent job of explaining Penang’s history and culture by way of the food. She was engaging and friendly. We walked away with a wealth of knowledge, from food spots to try the next day to interesting historical context that shaped the rest of our sightseeing. Lovely way to spend an evening in Penang!
