Explore Moonlit Sanctuary where you have the opportunity to feed Kangaroos and Wallabies under the supervision of Sanctuary staff plus view many famous Australian animals. Moonlit Sanctuary is dedicated to helping save Australia’s endangered wildlife from extinction. Many of the animals kept at the Sanctuary are threatened with extinction. However, just keeping and breeding rare animals is not enough, they must interact with programs aimed at saving them in the wild.

1.00Buy the Penguins Plus ticket, otherwise not worth it. General view is so far away you can not see anything. I bought the upgrade.
Great trip for a solo traveler and visitor who is not fluent in English.

5.00The penguin parade is a must see experience when in Melbourne! We really enjoyed this and are thankful we went with GoWest tours, our guide Robbo made the day so much better! We liked the Moonlit Sanctuary as well, but unfortunately the last koala encounter ticket was sold to the person in front of me :( pro tip - if you are interested in doing the koala encounter, you can buy tickets online ahead of time. It is about an hour from the first stop to the sanctuary so once you are on the way and have an idea of timing you can reserve your spot. However, without the encounter tickets we still got to see the koalas very well, and got to spend more time enjoying all of the other wild life! Also, the meal options throughout the day (lunch at Moonlit Sanctuary and dinner at the Penguin Parade) are edible and fine if you are hungry, but if you are a picky eater and have the ability I would suggest brining your own snacks/meals.
