The ferry was comfortable, and it all ran on time. We caught the 8:30am ferry, and chose a free hotel pick up which was pretty seamless. The captain had a good funny, well used, repertoire as we cruised towards Fremantle along the Swan River. Would happily travel with SeaLink again!

Great way to book a ferry ticket with more flexible cancellation than directly through Sealink’s site which is why I booked through Viator in case my plans changed. Very easy to exchange voucher for tickets at check-in and very smooth experience, highly recommend!

So this is where Perth comes to find its sanctuary – an island a few kilometres off the coast of Fremantle where there are zero cars – only buses and about 10,000 cyclists. It’s a lovely place, safe, interesting and has great beach’s and clean water. We took electric bikes and felt super smug as we zoomed up the hills (there are a few) ahead of panting traditional cyclists – and they were tough as it was hot at over 32c. I was amazed at how busy it was and especially how many people can be packed in the ferry – our cavernous boat took 400. A fun day.

We had a wonderful day on Rottnest, the views were stunning and did come across a few Quokkas. The Captain was very informative and humorous on the trip. Would recommend Sealink.

Sealink's service went off without a hitch. Some confusion at start about where and how we line up to board but otherwise ok. Boat crew were friendly & helpful, boat was clean, beverage options fine. I had no problems with booking online. Rottnest Island as a destination has its problems but that's for another post.

We hired bikes on the island, wasn't ready for a very hilly ride. But, with the scenery it was worth it!

Everything was well organised, the ferry was clean and comfy, and it all ran on time. If you’re on the 8:30am ferry, they even offer hotel pick-up from selected CBD spots, which made the early start so much easier. And the captain was hilarious — his commentary had everyone laughing and really set the tone for a great day. Would definitely travel with SeaLink again!

We were told to stand outside our hotel for an early pick up. After being there earlier than the allocated time we waited. There was nobody parked out the front of the hotel. A car pulled up down a bit from the hotel leaving it free for the Sealink bus to collect us from outside the front. However he parked in the bus stop down the road. He would have seen us waiting. My friend walked down there after a few minutes and realised that was the pick up bus. We walked down there with our luggage and he was the worst customer service person I've ever dealt with. He told us he was about to leave as that is where they always park as there are always cars parked out the front. However on this day there were no cars parked out the front! He wasn't helpful to other passengers getting on and when we got there he opened the ramp and didn't say a work. No goodbyes and no thank you.
