Come with us and get to know the most authentic, less touristy side of Lima during this half-day walking tour of the city's Chorrillos and Barranco neighborhoods. Enjoy visiting a real "fish town¨, a section of Chorillos that is home to a fish market and a cast of local fishermen, before heading to the nearby local market to sample some local peruvian dishes like Ceviche, Causa, Arroz con Mariscos(sea food paella), exotic peruvian fruits, snacks and more. Continue to the increasingly trendy Barranco area to admire colorful mansions and modern art galleries.

What To Expect

In our First stop, we explore the artesanal fish market of Chorrillos. There we will appreciate different kind of fish species from our coast and interact with the local fishermen. Then, we will walk by the dock in order to get the most stunning pictures of the area.

Our next stop is the colourful "Paradita market. There will taste the most exotic fruits of the three different natural regions of our country. Here we will visit a local market where you could taste the flavours from the traditional street peruvian food: coast, andean and amazonian peruvian part. Getting to know all the history behind each flavour. Yummy!

This was an awesome tour. The wife and I had amazing time with our tour guide Felipe and hus driver. The fish market and food market in Chorrillos was amazing. The food that we sample at the hole in the wall restaurant was out of this world good. The walking thru the Barranco neighborhood where we got to see the Arfo-Bohemian art work was cool too. This tour is worth the money.
