We really enjoyed our trip to Petra and Wadi Rum. While Petra definitely worth spending more time (we had about 2.5 hours there), it was enough to see main points and get a good view of the place and its history. We booked a guide and he was very knowledgeable pointing out interesting details. We were lucky both with the weather and also having very few people on site. Wadi Rum had good views but not as impressive as we expected. If you don’t have much time in Jordan, doing this trip in one day makes a lot of sense, although it is physically strenuous. We do recommend this company, our driver was helpful and friendly and the car was comfortable.

I booked this trip on short notice, and the operator provided the details just a day in advance. Our driver, Majdi, was extremely punctual, arriving early to pick us up. Although we were delayed while grabbing breakfast, he waited patiently. Throughout the journey, Majdi shared interesting information about the famous landmarks we passed and made stops at rest areas so we could freshen up. The car was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with water bottles, tissue napkins, and other essentials. Majdi ensured a smooth and efficient journey to Petra and Wadi Rum, even offering to take our photos at scenic spots. His warm and considerate nature truly enhanced our experience. Towards the end of the trip, he treated us to the famous Jordanian kunafa, which was a delightful touch. People like Majdi make a trip truly memorable. A big thank you to the tour operator and a special appreciation to Majdi for his exceptional hospitality!

This experience was unbelievable. The boys that run this are so welcoming and hospitable, our driver went above and beyond to ensure the best experience for us. The tour guide in Wadi Rum was a fun character who made the experience enjoyable. He even had us do a little photo shoot in the middle of the desert.. Amazing experience 10/10

Mohammed has been an amazing guide for the day - he is not just an absolutely positive person but also a fully flexible to your needs and wishes. The trip was relaxing in pace and when after the desert - I said shall we see the Red Sea as well - that was not something to discuss - and in 1hr we were having an amazing lunch by the Aqaba Marina. Totally great, thank you for that!

We had an amazing full day tour! Our driver Yahia was also amazing! He was on time for pick up and drove us safely to each place. The Maybach van was super clean and comfortable. We got to see the awesome Petra ruins and the Wadi Rum desert. Highly recommended!

If this was simply Petra I would give a 5 start but we stayed at Sun City Luxury Camp in Wadi Rum and that was very ordinary and not recommended. Petra on the whole was very good but a one day event is really packing it in to do both of these activities as it is at least 5 hours of travel simply to get from Amman to Petra. WadiR is another 90 minutes added on. Petra has about a 1km walk in (doenhill and a bit rough) to get to the start of the site and it is another 1.3km to walk into the Treasury, paved, fairly shaded as such. The rock formations and colours on this walk are spectular on their own. You need at least 4-5 hours inside and that involves a fair bit of walking, often sandy, stoney and up and down. We, 72-80 yrs, managed it well and not at the peak of fitness, but it was fairly hot and the walk out was hard going. You can wait for a gold cart but they are slim on the ground and some of the animals did not look that well cared for so we did not want that as an option. we did over 24000 steps if that helps you and we did not go to the monestary. Petra was the highlight of our 6 dayJordan stay. I would not recommend Wadi Rum to anyone unless you were going to trek thru the desert as such. Our 2.5 hour tour was a sham, the guide was about 14 and spoke about 6 words of English and the tour went for about 30 minutes and another 20 or so minutes getting to the camp where the accommodation was about 2-3 starts, all the plates in the eating area were chipped, the vinyl on the chairs had perished, the cold drinks were in a fridge that was turned off and the list goes on. we paid almost 400AUD for an not enjoyable night there.

My partner and I had the most incredible day with Jordan Drive Tribe, our driver, Yahia, was very friendly, patient, and super knowledgeable, always willing to answer questions and share a laugh. Our highlight was definitely the Wadi Rum 4x4 experience, something we will both never forget. We definitely recommend booking with Jordan Drive Tribe, they are excellent.

Transport - Perfect way to get to Petra and Wadi Rum. The car was comfortable and spacious for our group of 6 and we were given bottles of water. The operator was nice enough to offer drop-off to our hotel in Wadi Rum instead of returning back to Amman. The driver was easily contactable via WhatsApp. Tour - This activity excludes the actual tour of Petra so you will have to pay extra for a guide when you arrive at Petra. Tip - bring a good hat, sunglasses and water. The walk through Petra takes time and some parts are not shaded. Not really a complaint but more of a suggestion - the 4x4 vehicle used for the wadi rum tour didn’t have shade/a roof cover. We saw other groups sitting in vehicles that had it. Would be good if the 4x4 vehicle used had a roof cover/shade. Overall, a great experience! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend the Jordan Drive Tribe. Reliable, trustworthy, and professional. I wasn't expecting time off but when I found out late the bight prior I had one day free, I was able to make a very short notice trip for the next day. Driver, Mohammed, was very nice and accommodating. Before going read carefully what is and is not included. The driver is already driving you around for about 9 hours collectively so don't expect all-inclusive, he needs rest while you're touring. If you opt to do both Petra and Wadi Rum, highly recommend both but realize you will be somewhat pressed for time. You get ~3 hrs in Petra, so if you want to go further than the Treasury you should buy a 25JD round-trip golf cart for ride to treasury. Get a guide through the visitors center for 25JD (I believe) also so that you know what you're looking at. If the golf cart driver is kind enough to stop enroute to Treasury for pics, tip him, this is not something they have to do. Give yourself enough time to return to visitors center so you can buy a lunch for take-away prior to meeting your driver. The driver had water but you should plan on bringing some yourself, and plenty of places to buy cold water and coffee at stands once inside at Treasury. After getting back with driver, Wadi Rum is another ~1.5 hrs to the south. Jordan Drive Tribe has an agreement with one if the tour owners down there, so a man comes to meet you in his truck, brings you to a large tent where other groups will be present to hear about the Bedouin lifestyle of the past and history, then he will take you to see specific areas. Total 2 hours here, time flies by, extraordinarily beautiful and worth doing both in short time than just one, especially if you know you may not return. If I had the time I would've stayed overnight in Wadi Rum. Price is reasonable - I paid extra so that I could have vehicle to myself to lay down in seat.
