The focus of this tour was more about the drinks than the food. My wife and I felt the food was inadequate, we went out to dinner afterwards because we were still hungry. We’ve been on three other food tours in other cities and always were full afterwards. Our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable about the local history

Had a great tour of downtown area and learned a lot about its history in regards to prohibition . Jodi was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different buildings and hotels. She entertained us with ghost stories and local history. The food and cocktail samples were tasty.

This tour doesn't live up to expectations as it's described on TripAdvisor. Also, some of the details of the Tour are inaccurate. TripAdvisor list the Tour as Cocktails and bites at multiple stops in Louisville Whiskey Row while technically true. The bites are very underwhelming it would be generous to call them nibbles and the cocktail pours start with 2/3rds of a cocktail and shrink with each stop as the last stop was a sip of an old fashioned. The End Point of the Tour wasn't where it was advertised. It's listed that you end at the Galt Hotel so that's where we parked when in reality we stopped at a rooftop bar 6 blocks from the Galt.

Pros: Allison was a kind and informative guide who, you can tell, loves her job. The directions to meet up were clear and the walking was very manageable. Cons: Small bites with the emphasis on small. Some of the portions and drink sizes were laughable for the money spent. Guide made it clear that this wasn’t a food tour, despite “bites” being a part of it. I felt the ghost stories were lacking and rushed and of the told in a way that made it seem the guide did not enjoy this part of the tour.

We had Greta as a tour guide, and this tour was way beyond my expectations. There was not one second I did not enjoy. Definitely recommend!
