Phare Circus is more than a conventional acrobatic circus. The artists create and perform stories based on their own life experiences. Drawing from recent history, folklore and modern society, the artists blend drama, dance, live music and circus arts to share a part of their lives with audiences.
The performers come from unimaginably difficult social and economic background. They discover and develop their skills at Phare Ponleu Selpak non-profit school. They are able to earn a good living and transform their lives at Phare Circus, breaking the cycle of poverty.
By attending a Phare Circus show, you enjoy Siem Reap's best live entertainment, financially support the school and provide opportunities for Cambodian artists.

Experience Cambodia's most unique, authentic live entertainment by the graduates of Phare Ponleu Selpak non-profit school. Phare is more than a conventional acrobatic circus. Performers use theater, live music, dance and modern circus arts to tell uniquely Cambodian stories; historical, folk and modern. The artists create the stories themselves based on the real-life experiences of themselves and their families. Expect the unexpected. NOTE: Phare Insider guests should arrive by 6:15pm for the backstage visit to the artist, technician and costume work areas.

5.00A very exciting and impressive show with live music and lots of acrobatics. It was amazing how no one spoke, yet everything was so expressive and easy to understand. The acrobatics were incredible. At times it almost made my heart stop! Truly breathtaking. A huge thank you to these incredibly talented artists for such a beautiful and memorable evening.

5.00Exceptional show in air conditioned tent with hand fans supplied. Make sure you get there for food, gift shop and young artists before the main show. A definite in Siem Reap for all ages. Seating is backless benches and suggest going for level A or B.

3.00The shows ok ..but the storyline wasn't there really and costumes were less than average they were wearing just everyday clothes. Food was ok ..not huge choice ..was a night out if you have a spare night free it's worth it ..not much difference in the seating so we paid for B area seating that would be the most Its worth which at the time was $28 USD .

5.00Really recommend this experience! Great for all ages and well worth the entry fee. Lots of laughs and daring routines told in the sweetest way. Good view from any seats so spend what you can afford. Remember that money from the entry supports students in their academic and circus education, learning skills to secure future employment. Lovely, ethical shop with handmade goods from Cambodia.
