This was NOT a snorkeling tour. Having it in the title is misrepresentative. If you want to hang out on a bumpy speedboat with a ton of strangers commuting around islands to take pictures, this is the tour for you. If you actually want to snorkel, don't book this. We brought our own snorkels, but planned on using their fins. There weren't any though, and their snorkels had neither valves nor caps. I thought we would be given a ride to a reef off-shore and snorkel there for a few hours. That was not this tour. The first stop at Bamboo Island was snorkeling just off the beach. We had a brief time there, and it seemed like most people didn't even get in the water. Happily, the lack of people getting in the water other than to take photos right at the shore meant there actually was some nice sealife to see, including a baby black tip reef shark that pup during the time we were there, a porcupine fish, and tons of sea cucumbers. It was off to a good start, except that we had about 45 minutes before having to commute to another island. The next stop was monkey island, where you could stand in a smoking section and see a monkey. There was not time or space to snorkel on this island. And it wasn't the natural space covered with wild monkeys I thought it would be. I could have skipped that to stay in the water. Then we drove to lunch, which was okay food, but again, no real space to snorkel aside from a small roped off beach area in between parked boats. I would have preferred to have packed lunches for our boat at a snorkel spot, instead of spending time commuting to another island to not snorkel. We next stopped at a cliff for pictures and then went to the Dicaprio beach for pictures, standing in line in the sun to take a picture on the crowded "unspoiled" beach. You weren't allowed in the water to snorkel at either spot. Then there was another cave spot to look at from the boat where we weren't allowed in the water. Lastly, we went to a snorkeling spot. It was terrible. It was an urchin barren crowded with tons of other snorkelers bobbing in life jackets who apparently didn't even know how to swim. There was another baby black tip reef shark there, but some [expletive] guy had it cornered by rocks when it's a species that has to keep swimming to survive. I felt bad for the shark. At no point did our guide mention anything about the sealife biodiversity or respect. The lack of ecological mindset on this tour was unlike any snorkeling tour I've been on. If you want to roam around and tell people you went to a bunch of islands in Thailand and take pictures, this is the tour for you. If you want to snorkel, take a water taxi to Bamboo Island for half the price and a much better experience. The Phi Phi Islands could be great, but this tour was not.

The organization prior to embark was chaotic no very good guidance. A lot of people in a small place. After embarking no safety features of the boat, life saving device not seen or explained. The amount of people in the boat was to much. I think that five persons less would have been easier to manage. Weather condition was difficult ( not the fault of anyone). However there was no preparation or available bags for some of the people that got sea sick. Basically they have to vomit over board. Te first stop at Khai Nain island was unnecessary, unfortunately they have change the character of the island with massive wooden structures to put little bars and souvenir shops the beach was at best ok. Stoping at Maya beach was extremely chaotic ,nothing to do but to see the beach( not allowed to swim or get in the water( understandable because the beach can not handle the amount of tourist) The return again some people sea sick no bags for people to vomit.

The whole trip was really lovely. Our guide Mr Kong was really good and was helpful when we arrived at any stop. Would recommend the trip but bring beach shoes not flip flops as you need shoes to walk on the beach at Khai Island.
