Thailand's Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation will close Maya Bay every year for 2 months in August and September
Don't feed the monkeys as it makes them aggressive and stops them from foraging for food as they would normally do
The tour program is subject to change due to weather & sea conditions
Notable rules at Maya Bay include no swimming, no single-use plastics, using reef-safe sunscreen and no use of drones without permission
While Monkey Beach isn't a direct stop, you can still observe the monkeys when the tide is low
While the monsoon season (roughly May to October) brings increased jellyfish sightings due to water movement, these graceful creatures can appear year-round in the Andaman Sea. To ensure a safe and enjoyable swim, consider asking your tour guide

What To Expect
Ao Nang
You will be collected from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang or Tubkaek Beach in the morning, the exact pickup time will be indicated at time of confirmation.
Check in with our boat crew at the small booth at Nopparat Thara Pier.

5.00I appreciate that they picked us up and dropped off at our hotel for this excursion. The tour guides were friendly and the sights were so beautiful. Maya Bay was a star of the show, but it is also very crowded as a result. But this didn't affect our ability to get beautiful pictures of the water. The pacing did not feel rushed, and the lunch served was delicious. I would recommend Sea Eagle Tours to friends and family.
Disappointed with the snorkelling and sad at pikes of rubbish.

3.00Well organised but over tourism has really spoilt the islands. We wanted to snorkel as strong swimmers but there was only one stop where fish were visible amongst dead coral. Ludicrous situation at Bamboo Island where they insisted you wore a life jacket for snorkelling so we declined. Dozens of bobbing non swimmers soaked in sunscreen. Trash in piles all over Phi Phi and scavenging cats not attractive.

4.00We were 4 friends in Mr. Jackson's boat. Kai, Mr. Laea and Mr. Nat. with our guide Sali (crew#1111) What we liked was the organization of the day to squeeze the most out of the Phi Phi Islands. You should know that on this excursion you do both bathing and diving 🤿 and the team lends you the glasses and takes photos with a GoPro. You leave time for everything. A very good experience

5.00The whole crew including our guide, Gina was great. We did a private tour to Phi Phi and the surrounding islands as we had two elderly parents and two young children. It was definitely worth it. We didn't have to struggle for space as we noticed some of the bigger boats looked abit too crowded for our liking and it also meant the itinerary was more flexible e.g. if we wanted to move on quicker from some places or stay for longer. They were so sweet with my younger son and also very attentive when my father had an accident just before we got on the boat back. They had the necessary first aid kit required, cleaned the wound and bandaged my dad's arm well. Throughout the day, we had continuous snacks and drinks (very important for young kids!) and they also provided towels and snorkelling gears. The speedboat was kept clean all the time. Would not hesitate to use Sea Eagle Tours again.

5.00This was a great trip. The crew, Mr Kai, Mr Nat and Laea, and tour guide, Sali were helpful and knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. They made sure we ran to schedule so that we could see everything on the itinerary. We particularly loved swimming in the lagoon and snorkelling and they provided the snorkelling equipment. They took underwater photos of us and sent them to us afterwards. They gave us drinks and refreshments during the journey and we stopped for a delicious lunch. I would recommend this trip.

5.00The excursion to Phi Phi Islands by speedboat was simply spectacular. From the very first moment you noticed the good organization and reliability of the boats, which gave a lot of confidence to enjoy the trip without worries. The guide and all the crew were the best: attentive, close and always with a smile. You could tell they enjoyed their work and that made the experience even more special. They really made a difference. And what about the scenery... the views were breathtaking, a real paradise. Between the natural beauty of the islands and how well the crew got along, the excursion was magnificent from start to finish. I would repeat without hesitation.
