What To Expect
Ferries from Phi Phi Island to Phuket run every day all year round. Most of the year the trip is fairly smooth although conditions can get a little more choppy during the months of September and October. Transportation from Phi Phi Islands to Phuket Town is pretty easy by Ferry. It’s about 2 hours journey from Phi Phi Island (Tonsai Pier) to Rassada Pier in Phuket. No pickup service from your hotel but you have to come to the pier by yourself and check in your ticket at the pier 30 minutes before departure time. Rassada Pier is the gateway to Phuket Town, Patong and another place where you will go, there are many transportation services from the pier to many destinations. Transfer services from Phi Phi Island to Phuket Town operate daily all year round.

5.00It was very convenient to be able to apply for additional shared buses from the destination port of Rasada when checking in on Phi Phi. From Rasada port to Patong beach was cheap at 150 baht.

5.00On the way out, we took a speedboat with a lot of shaking, but on the way back we took this ferry and enjoyed the view, and it was good to have little shaking. I used the ferry from Phi Phi to Rasada port, and it was very convenient to ask for additional bus service from Rasada port to various places at check-in.

5.00We used viator to organize roundtrip transfers to Phi Phi island from our hotel in Phuket. Everything was timely and instructions were clear. Read the tour details carefully as you need to book two separate transports (tours). Each is a one way. The one way TO Phi phi island includes hotel pickup. On the way back, when we checked in for the ferry, the cruise operator helped us book a transfer in an air conditioned van back to our hotel. This also went very smoothly. I would use this service again but DEFINITELY bring your motion sickness tabs on the boat if you are prone to motion sickness AT ALL. This boat is large and air conditioned with bathrooms and a snack bar. Not the speedboat kind. The cruise takes around 2 hours

5.00I had lots of fun on this tour. The tour guides were fun and engaging and we were able to visit all destinations despite the unpredictable weather. Plus it’s just the right amount of time to see each destination rather than spending an entire day doing it.

5.00Phi Phi cruiser was a large vessel and very comfortable. We went to top deck and really enjoyed the 1 3/4 he ride.
