Seamus was an excellent tour guide. His knowledge of the city was unmatched. The walking tour was so fun and a great way to walk around the historic sites with a local. We lucked out and got to be the only guests on the tour. Seamus was so personable, up for a chat, as well as giving us lots of historic facts. This is a great way to see the sites and would recommend this walking tour to anyone visiting Philadelphia.

Seamus was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. We were running over the schedules time allotment because of the snow yet we were able to see everything included in the tour. Truly enjoyed and thanks again to Seamus for the wonderful tour of Old City.

I had a great time on this tour despite the snowy weather! Seamus did a fantastic job explaining the historic sites of Philadelphia. The tour was a great length and I felt like I got to see plenty in a hour and a half. I would definitely recommend if you want a peek into the rich history of the Old City in Philly.

  • Moral of the story - don’t tear down the house!

My husband and I booked this tour last minute and we highly recommend it. It is a nice historical overview of Old City, Philadelphia. It highlights great spots that are worth more of a visit if you have time. Joseph, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and even though he has been doing these tours for a while, he kept it fresh and interesting. It definitely brings history to life and I’m still wondering how could they tear down Ben Franklin’s house! I guess his own family did not recognize the historical importance or just needed the $ that badly. Very interesting tidbit from our tour today.
