Here’s the very best of Victoria’s wildlife experiences. The Penguin Parade is an absolute ‘must’ on every visitor’s itinerary, but this tour gives you so much more.
First stop is Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, where you can get up close to wallabies on the wallaby walk (you may see little joeys peeking out of their mothers’ pouches). Enjoy a ranger providing unique insights and information during the daily koala presentation.
Then we travel on to the spectacular Cape Woolamai Surf Beach. Located on the southern coast of Phillip Island, this beach is exposed to the ocean swells and the surf here is truly impressive. It's also not uncommon to see dolphins or seals swimming in the waters just off the beach.
We also visit the Nobbies and Australia’s largest Fur Seal colony at Seal Rocks. Finally, the ultimate attraction: hundreds of Little Penguins emerging from the ocean and waddling across the beach to their sand dune burrows.

Our time at Moonlit Sanctuary was too short. The marathon was happening that day and traffic was backed up so we lost time. A significant rain storm came up just as we pulled into the beach closest to Phillip Island. Think we should have skipped the stop as we were told after that toilet stop that there was another toilet option about 20 minutes away. We got soaked. The driver pointed out walla ies in the wild but did so without indicating which side of the bus and it didn't matter because the windows were all fogged up unless you were in the front seat and could see out the windshield. The penguins arrived as promised and were fun to watch even though the rain and wind made sitting outside unpleasant. Lisa was our guide. She was friendly and outgoing.

This was an absolutely amazing amazing day! Bob was fun and gave us so much information and great hints about viewing the penguins during the parade and after. He took extra time to show us The Nobbies and everyone on the trip was awestruck by the beauty of the site! It was a wonderful day but we would opt for the premium package for viewing the penguins because you have a much better position for viewing them coming on shore. It truly was a great tour!

Great adventure with the animals at the wildlife sanctuary. The penguin walk was a unique once in a lifetime experience. It was a very long day, almost 12 hours. However, our driver/guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The penguin walk be sold out with over 700 visitors. Buy your tickets in advance or arrange a guided tour. It’s very cold at night in early October when we went. Bundle up!

Our tour was amazing. Our guide Lisa took us to a wide array of absolutely gorgeous places where we got to bathe our eyes in the wide open skies and the sea and the green hills. She shared fascinating stories, and of course the animals were adorable!!! We debated wether to do this tour because we're doing other wildlife activities as well but we loved feeding the kangaroos and wallabies in moonlit sanctuary and the penguin parade was a once in a lofe time experience where we get to witness nature's cycles and beauty from a front row seat. Lisa was kind and welcoming and warm and we loved having her as a guide!
